Bounceback Offers Return to Walt Disney World

All the discounts out there are not unprecedented and have been around for years and at the same time.

We don't even have free dining offers yet.

You can start chirping once we start seeing free g+, free dining, free ills, free buy x gwt y free or big Ole package deals.
Again, whoā€™s ā€œchirpingā€ about the discounts? They are indicative of soft bookings. Iā€™ve yet to read anyone complaining. Although they are definitely trying to push people into Deluxe rooms, if what Iā€™ve heard from others is any indication.

We wonā€™t see free Genie- or free ILLā€™s. Those wouldnā€™t move the needle at all. Free dining? Mehā€¦ it isnā€™t even available until 2024 as-is, but Iā€™m sure Bob thinks itā€™s a lever he can (or may have to) pull to instantly boost bookings. Now, if they bring back the Buy 5 Get 2 or Buy 4 Get 3 ticket deals? Thatā€™s a sign things are bleak for TDO.

View attachment 727494

This bounceback offer is good for stays most nights in 2024, including:

  • January 7-10, 2024
  • January 15-18, 2024
  • January 25 ā€“ February 1, 2024
  • February 4-8, 2024
  • February 11-14, 2024
  • February 19-22, 2024
  • February 25 ā€“ March 16, 2024
  • March 31 ā€“ May 23, 2024
  • May 27 ā€“ August 29, 2024
  • September 2-30, 2024
  • October 27-31, 2024
  • November 25-27, 2024
  • December 1-24, 2024
Are the dates for January correct? They don't match what I've seen elsewhere.

I just checked a few sites and they all match to the dates I had initially posted - but maybe they have been changing?
For January I've seen 7-10, 15-18, 21-25 and 28-31.
You have 7-10, 15-18, 25-February 1.

I saw a posted photo of the card for guest rooms. It had the first set of dates also. The poster wasn't anyone official.
I'm curious which is right, for personal planning purposes.

I just checked 4 more sites and 1 of the 4 did include the Jan 21-25 dates and the other 3 did not

I will say the wording before the dates says the days "include" the following, so maybe there is some flux to them?

Okay, thanks. I guess I'll just have to call once I'm eligible and hope for the best.

Many cast are being asked if they want to go home early or have the day off (sometimes aggressively) and part timers are not getting scheduled at all and havenā€™t for months, Iā€™m sure many PT will start quitting soon because they have to beg for shifts every week - often not even at their home location.
I totally understand that this is happening. I was just putting a point out there. As a reminder to CMs, they can't force you to ER, even if they're aggressive about it.

They interestingly also havenā€™t done ā€œPin Codeā€ / targeted offers in a while. I feel like pre-COVID those were pretty common.

Florida is hurting right now for tourists, as vacationers are looking elsewhere and conventions have cancelled throughout the state. Disney will be no exception -- expect bargains and deals to explode as the year progresses, and especially into 2024. Between the soft economy for travel, and unfortunate politics, Florida is about to experience some things.

Thatā€™s interesting. Which conventions have cancelled?

I know Disney lost the Pop Warner crowd a few years ago i bet they wish they had them back to fill the rooms up right about now and spend some moneyā€¦
