Trip Report 9000 sans adult supervision, solo at WDW!

Take 2!

5 days at wilderness lodge club level here I come! Left Atlanta around 630 AM and I'm currently about an hour from Orlando.

I hit some rough waters during my trip down here. By rough waters I mean hot water. For those of you that were up earlier you know what I'm talking about. You know there's "magical" drama when your text message inbox looks liked this...

I truly take it as an honor that 2 lovely ladies who are also heavy hitters in these trip report forums took a moment to check in with me

But I'm back at open seas with sunshine ahead And we're gonna have the hap-hap- happiest trip report since that time that Michael Jackson came to my house to use the bathroom! OK well Michael Jackson didn't come to my house to use the bathroom..., but his sister did!

For anybody who is wondering why I'm so low, my wife had to stay home with one of our cats who was ill and will hopefully fly down to meet me once She is able to have the cat seen by the veterinarian tomorrow or Tuesday.

But for now, it's your boy, the people's champ, unsupervised at WDW! Rest assured, hijinks will pursue!

Then over to the Falcon. A young boy and girl were behind me as we got our positions and I offered up my seat as pilot. It was worth it because the two youths made it a very interesting flight as they crashed into everything in sight while laughing.

Our score reflected it.

It was starting to cold out and the cowboy's/bucs game is on soon so its back to the resort. But first...

Good morning from Old Faithful Lounge with a country breakfast

I finished off yesterday with giving Territory Lounge another go as the Cowboys game started. Spoiler alert: it wasn't much better the second time. But I'm not gonna give up on it just yet.

It was a bit different this time at TL as the bartender actually knew what he was doing and his service was great, but he was just overwhelmed. It was him and one waitress covering the entire lounge and it was pretty full. There's about 10-12 tables and appx 8-10 seats at the bar.

They were just understaffed. And it urks me when I see a supervisor pop their head out of the back to check on them but not pitch in for a few minutes to help them.

Overall it was a better experience than the night before and I can't blame the bartender and waitress on undersraffing. It just took about ten minutes before I had my drink. Not the end of the world.

I made a funny face towards the end of the photos she took and when she finished, she looked at me with a very judgemental expression and said ohhhkaaaay with a bit of snark. And the funny face photos never came thru

It was cool they had a photopass photographer in the lobby.

No time to waste with The Jones boys as I had to get to Everest ASAP!

Being solo at Disney can be lonely at sometimes but single rider perks have their benefits when there's no wait. This was very helpful as I did not have to use one of my genie plus selections on Everest


After Everest you get a beer right!

The bartender told me that bears exclusive to animal kingdom park. If that's true that's pretty cool and it was a good beer too

There was quite some activity with the African dogs which are my favorite and the cheetahs but homeboy driver just sped right past them like a jacka$$

I spotted Indy in line!

After some serious sivako action it was time to head out. But first i has to get a refill.

On my way out I decided to call C and play a game. As I was at the bus stop I told her to pick a number from 1 to 27 amd whichever bus stop number she picked that would be where I had lunch!

She thought it would be fun to count on her fingers and when our dog, Akira, pawed her, that would be the number she stopped at.

Akiras first two picks were Pop Century. C was kind enough to try again and Akira pawed her at 14 which is Caribbean Beach Resort, but I didn't tell C which resort it was. I asked for one more try...

C said she would pick a number. And of course, she picked ........14! I was cracking up as I asked what could I have possibly done to make her and Akira hate me so much, hahaha!!!

But rules are rules and I hopped on the bus.

I was waiting quite awhile on a bus and then a bus to Riviera pulled up so I hopped on.

I even had Shirley status!

I had to facetime C to give her a proof where I was heading and I told her that I would catch the skyline from Riviera over to Caribbean beach. I did my best to plead with her and let me have lunch at bar Riva but sje wouldn't allow it

As I hopped on the skyliner she looked up the different spots to eat at Caribbean beach. She picked spy glass grill.

Once I landed I made my way to the grill.

It was completely empty. This didn't look good.

There was a cast member at the window who explained to me that they do not open back for dinner until 5 PM and all they had was drinks and grab amd go.

I called C to update her and she agreed that it would be fine if I just got a beer and hit the road.

Currently on the way to magic kingdom!

It was so much fun playing our little.game and we plan to do it again. I'm still hungry but I'm gonna knock out a few rides at MK and head back to WL for lunch

CBR has been one of my fave resorts for a quick but decent lunch - even through all the changes they’ve made. Spyglass? I saw that and out loud said, “Noooooo!”

A little star tunnel action for ya...

I pride myself in knowing where the on ride cameras are but I always get mixed up in which direction to look on Space Mtn depending on which I'm on. So, I just looked up

Had to fuel like a winner afterwards and send C a proof of hydration pic. She worries when I'm unsupervised that I'll forget to hydrate

I had a Genie plus for the speedway but i decided to catch a bit of the parade instead

I headed back to WL after.

Here's another reason why im.so blessed to have C in my life.

Years ago, I had heartburn and took all the crap people take, such as Zantac and other otc drugs. But C got me on apple cider vinegar. I took one shot in the morning every morning, and after about two weeks, i haven't had heart burn since.

I only take it every few days now. But as I unpacked one of the extra bags that C packed for me, I found this.

A travel size apple cider vinegar. I didn't exactly need it, but I was glad to have it and I took a shot. I just drink from the bottle at this point you get used to it

Also, mouse keeping has been leaving towel animals.

I showered up, relaxed, steamed my shirt and headed back out. I stopped at the lounge for evening cordials. They had quite a nice selection.

Wilderness Lodge Club Level doesn't play around! I had some brisket and it was great.

There are 2 must- dos to enjoy a beer in Canada. First, drink it by the totem poles and second, drink it in honor of my good friend @amjt660 ! CHEERS, brother!

I stopped for the Brie bread bowl thing at the booth I France

This thing was heavenly. Soft bread and dried cheese in the bowl made of said soft bread.

C wanted me to see what they had for Marie merchandise. I found this cat toy and she loved it. PPIEW for our new kitten!

And Marie herself approved!
