As stated before, I don't think Disney has any business creating a fifth gate when 3 of the 4 current parks are in dire need of TLC.

It's like Octomom having another round of babies.

Tossing all the thoughts of "they should fix the 4 parks we have" and "not ANOTHER 5th gate thread" - and purely doing a big of blue sky thinking, I think a "Tim Burton" inspired park would be pretty cool, Nightmare Before Christmas land, Alice in Wonderland...er.... land. Beetlejuice land etc etc (I know some of the rights may not be Disney but they could acquire them, this is just Blue Sky thinking isn't it!)

Expand HS (cardland, monsters coaster, star wars?)
Expand AK (DisneySea-land)
Expand EPCOT (add 2 countries with rides + redo Imagination and Energy)
Expand DTD
add monorails (or something similar) to them all

Why not? Every other thread is pure fantasy.
We know nothing is going to happen with Epcot
We know avatar tomAK is only an illusion stuck in development hell
DHS might have slight traction but we won't see anything finished for 3 to 6 years and that's if they start today.

So yeah, a fantasy 5th park hate fits in perfectly

If Disney were to create a 5th gate, what should be the theme of it? I personally think they have three really good options, and obvioulsy the land. My first pick would be a park themed on the United States, based on hisory/regions of the States, second I would pick Disney Sea or a variation of, and finally 3rd i would suggest a park based on just history in general (ex: ancient greece, eygpt, china, current america, dark age Europe, etc.) What would you like to see from a 5th gate?

Well Disney does have the America plans on ice somewhere ready to go.

I would like TDO to updated and refurb the 4 they have currently. Plenty to do with Tomorrowland, AK , HWS , Epcot and even Dtd.

how many hotels, DVCs, and Restaurants will a Gate Budget build us?

Well that depends on full blown Disney budget of the past, or "walmarted, death by a 1000 cuts" budget of the present. If its the later, probably a motel 6 and waffle house.
