There is a Facebook page called Ears for Each Other. It's a page where a number of the laid off or furloughed WDW cast members share their stories and try to market their side hustle talents to earn income to survive ( cooking, baking, handicrafts, handyman etc ) . The page also invites people willing to offer words of support or take them up on their side hustle projects.
If anyone wants to offer words of support or utilize their side hustle talents it can help them out.

All the more reason to allow “exclusive” access. Add cafe Orleans and French Market on for additional seating as needed, since the club would have reduced seating.
I'm not familiar with California law but wouldn't that conflict with the law? And otherwise if they had to walk through a dead park to get to it, I'm not thinking it would be a very exciting experience. Also because it is in the middle of a dead park, what would have to happen to have people get even to it.

Restaurants can operate indoor dining at 25% capacity, which is why I mentioned French Market and Cafe Orleans, since they both offer open seating.

You haven’t studied marketing... they aren’t “walking through a dead park” they would be “personally guided to New Orleans Square with exclusive photo opportunities at Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Partners Statue”

It’s not that easy. Club 33 and Park Ops are different departments. The last thing on the minds of parks leadership is getting a few people to dine in a socially distanced way in club 33. It’s a waste of man power

It’s a waste of man power to make money?
They won’t make enough money to make it worth it. I’m not trying to argue. The clubs are smallish spaces so with social distancing they wouldn’t be able to accommodate many people at a time. But they would have to pay staff - waiters, chefs, bartenders, hosts, security for the park, etc etc etc. Honestly I am not sure they can even functionally operate bc they are inside the parks. The clubs at wdw are open but are not making much extra money. Also the clubs make their money mostly in membership fees, so they are ok

They could charge whatever they wanted to charge for the exclusive access. Everyone knows that.

Alright then maybe you’re right... if they can collect money with a closed club than they really have figure out the secret! Ha.
They sure have! The contract is a PITA and they are offering members some perks for the following years but no break on payment. Also no member is going to pay extra to go in a club they already pay for. They will just wait it out. You have to remember that they can come and go as they please so may not be chomping at the bit

Nice idea in theory...

“Hey, your paycheck is ending...go pay 25% of that crown you’ve been putting off out of pocket before its too late!”
true but I think it's more of a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" type of thing. more like pay the 25% out of pocket or the 100% oop after you lose benefits. lol I actually got my last knee replaced for that very reason. I could have probably hung onto the "real" knee for another few years but with 65 being a few years away and me wanting (hoping, praying, wishing) to retire in a few months, I figured I get it done now while still on the company dime.
Can't even imagine the cost of that with crappy insurance. 😱😱

A good buddy of mine works for Southwest Airline, she's scared. actually hoping they offer an early retirement package.

Not enough reason to keep a half empty restaurant operating. There are other places to eat. From what you said you think that Disney should staff the gate and allow people in that may or may not have a pass through a quiet, unoccupied theme park just to have them pay way to much money for mediocre food. That's even to much to be classified as a first world problem. That's rainbow and unicorn situations.
