We will be attending parties on September 15th, 20th, and the 22nd. Hope to see/meet some of you guys there. Just look for a slightly smaller Troy Polamalu.

Question from a Newbie of Mickey's Party... How do they weed out the general public when the park closes? For Example, my wife and I don't intend on spending another 144 dollars for the extra 5 hours at Magic Kingdom/Party on the 20th of September. Do CM's escort you out? Or is it like EMH where you can still walk around the park but not ride any attractions. I really appreciate it!

Non wrist band holders will be funneled out. They deploy a few hundred cast around the park to direct any day guests out of the park. They ultimately go person to person checking for bands before the first parade begins. You have very little chance of remaining in the park without a wrist band.

Thanks for the help. I didn't want to be that couple that tries to stay but it is disappointing to know that we can only stay until 7PM, it isolates the non-children crowd a bit but I guess that is why the EMH's are on the 19th until 1AM. That will have to do!

Just go to a different park the day of MNSSHP

Because MNSSHP is only for those with kids? I'm assuming you feel the same way toward the Magic Kingdom at large. There's always drunk-fest at Epcot.

Well, I have never been so I can't speak to that but it would appear that way, parades and trick or treating isn't something the wife and I would want to spend $150 extra dollars for.

It seems odd to be willing to pay $100 to go into the park for a parade and a fireworks show that has been around for 12 years on a different day but not being willing to go into the park to go on the same rides, but with cool lighting, special characters, a special parade, special castle show, and special fireworks with perimeter pyro for $75/each. Anyone who would go to the MK in general without kids would probably enjoy MNSSHP, but to each his own.

My husband and I are going (we have no kids)! I've heard nothing but good things about the party. I'm so so so so excited to see Hallowishes. I could care less about the candy, but it'll be fun to see everyone's costumes.

This wasn't a personal attack on you by any means and I hope you didn't take it that way. We just don't care of any parades or fireworks really, we are all about the attractions, so we couldn't justify MNSSHP. I understand some find it entertaining and to each their own. I am just stating that it is disappointing to have the park close so early on a weekend night. We just don't see value in 5 hours of Halloween decorations/parades or fireworks for an additional $150 dollars. Maybe we will change our minds and check it out but its hard to get into Halloween in September in Florida.

Never done this purely because of the price. I'm sure it's great fun but we're at the parks so much anyway that I can't really see what more I'd get from the MK during it than candy, parades and a show or two? I'm not knocking it or those who attend and I am curious, it's just looking at the price for two kills my curiosity somewhat
