1st time Disney Dream cruisers with questions...

We are on the Dream for a 5 night cruise next week, too. Maybe we're on the same one? Some people tend to get all huffy regarding the dress code in the dining rooms, but personally I don't pay too much attention to what others wear. I will tell you that my 7 year old son will not be in long pants. He'll be in nice shorts and a collared shirt. If the boys will be more comfortable in shorts, go for it. They for sure will not be the only ones. This will be our 3rd cruise on the Dream and both times previously there were many kids (and adults) in shorts in the dining room.

I did have someone recently tell me that they found the pull down bed to be a little short. We had a 17 year old teenage boy in ours last time and he didn't say anything about it being short, but he may have been trying to be nice.

There are some other options though. Two rooms may actually be less than concierge for you. You could get a verandah room with an inside room across the hall and probably save a good deal. :)

Thanks. Some of us in the group have said we'd sleep on the floor as long as we're on the ship!!!! LOL;)

Well since the 2 of you are taking up the floor I'll gladly take a little spot out on the verandah or in the bathtub. Shoot, I'd sleep sitting upright on "the throne" if I had to!
The MORE THE MERRIER! I may just pack a hammock to string up on the verandeh somehow and sleep there!!!! we are so excited we can't wait!

Ever sleep the night in the Walt Disney Theater? Been there, done that! I was sick as a dog and could NOT stop coughing. I left the room so I wouldn't keep everybody else all night. It was too cold on deck (Caribbean sea-night in January) and too bright in most of the public spaces. Those chairs are not real comfortable for spending the night, let me tell you!

There were no comfier chairs maybe in one of the other public areas? Well, I guess those would be too much light. Bless your heart. But, really, what a gentleman to not want to disturb the family. Awww...

Wow...I have slept standing up against a wall one time! LOL...I think with all of the activities on board, it won't be hard to fall asleep anywhere!!!!

Here's a link to the August 5th through 9th Personal Navigators from my recent cruise. Use the PDF links so you can zoom-in to see the details.

I'm not a fan of Nassau so I decided to stay onboard.

My cruisemates headed to Atlantis for the Dolphin Encounter right after breakfast so I did some touring of the boat, spent some quality time with a book and cigar on the verandah, saw a premier of the new ABC show Nashville and got a shave.
