I think Pi asked about the timeline for the New England land - my suggestion would be mid-late 1800s. Not turn of the century where there are motorized vehicles and what not, but there would be trolleys and steam engines.

Boston had the first Subway in America, built in 1897, it's underground, but also above ground like a trolley, that could be transport from the TTC to shopping going laterally across the entrance.

So my biggest issue with a German park is the same issue as France or Canada or even Japan, and that's the cold weather. Snow and cold weather impacts how much stuff we can have outside. Obviously, to do a park in Australia or Brazil would be overdone (and I feel the same way about Canada), so I raise a new location completely.

What if we did a park in South Africa. Africa doesn't have any Disney parks representation, and while it can get cold there, it's not as cold as in northern Europe
That would be awesome! Imagine all the foliage we could have!

Here’s kind of an off the wall pitch that combines the Hamilton stage show with the Muppets Colonial show.

The Muppets Present.... Hamilton!

The Muppets take a crack at performing the hit musical when shenanigans ensue!
That's gonna be tough to convince @AceAstro to go with. He HATES Muppets. But if he can get on board I think that could be fun!

I've been reading the replies, and I would be totally on-board with a Boston Street as the entry land, with one addon:
I really believe we should spice things up with this land, so how about having Boston Harbor? It would be a great place for seafood shops (I mean, New England is known for their seafood) and a boat dock for a possible boat transport ride.
It should be easily accessible from the main street, with three connections.

If we use Pi's design with the Seven Seas Lagoon type thing, this would fit perfectly.

So, here's a pitch for a different layout for the Main Street!

View attachment 498737

Have it sideways pointing out at a 7 Seas Lagoon type lake. 1 direction heads to the Shopping District and a bus hub for hotels (maybe a walkway to the other park too). The other way heads to monorail stations and other TTC stuff for day guests.

Both sides of the street could have slightly different thematic focuses. Like one side is more spooky and one side is more historical perhaps.

The more important buildings like guest services and Emporium can be more to the center of the hub. The more specialty and destination stuff can be more near either entrance since those are things guests will seek out.

One entrance can be the library and the other can be a train station or museum.

The large lake connection can give us a real seaside feel. Boats in the harbor. A show at night.

The lighthouse gives us a Boston weenie to draw us to the center and as we get to the center town square we get the dramatic castle reveal.

The two paths will split the crowds for entrance/exit allowing us to avoid overcrowding without needing the giant wide paths Shanghai used or needing a bypass.
Now when you say New England lighthouse.... and we have a sort of spooky Salem section to the entrance, are you thinking what I'm thinking? @PerGronStudio ;)

What if instead of the train, there was a boat ride around a river that circles the park?

We could even include elements of Jungle Cruise and Small World along the way instead of just cloning these classics.

The boat might tie in better with the Boston Harbor theme and give us a unique transportation option for the park
