Here's a possible route:

I really like what Dash said here about keeping the lands separate (Entrance vs Hub)
I feel like a bigger thing also is that, no matter what the Castle rests at the far end of, that it should feel like its own land. Main Street USA has a very distinctive feel that separates it from the other lands.
While I do think some level of transition helps the mind's eye, in order to accommodate everyone we could have a 1700s Americana entrance, transitioning back in time towards a Germanic/European inspired hub; the waterway in between acting like sailing the 'Atlantic' to Europe.

Looking through the thread, @Mickeynerd17 seemed pretty passionate about a Germanic Castle. A Bavarian Forest with a Germanic Castle peaking over the trees would be a unique setup, and from New England, could also be interpreted as the pine trees of Maine in the distance.

It would also separate our team into two subgroups - The Entrance Land and The Castle Hub

For the Entrance Land Team
- @pix could get their Nightmare Before Christmas attraction along with detailed seasonal overlays
- @NigelChanning09 could work on a Hamilton stage show
- @Pufflefan could do some great seaside restaurants
- @PerGronStudio and I could use our knowledge of the area to our advantage
- Avid Library fan could go crazy with a late 18th century Library on the Main Street
- Train enthusiasts could work on the station
- @AceAstro could work on a Muppets colonial show!

For the Hub Team
- Castle enthusiasts could assist in designing the icon of the park
- Parade/stage show fans could create unique events
- We could work towards the Fantasyland transition beyond the castle

As a Californian, I am indifferent to this Boston theme. (There's already an entire theme park dedicated to my home state, WHOOOOOO!!! :D)

Yet there is a lot of player passion for Boston! If the overall desire is to do Disney's Massachusetts Adventure, then I definitely support including the library in some form. I can also definitely help with the Germanic castle!

Also we do need someone to act as Mr. Manager for the round.

I'd volunteer to mainly because a lot of folks here are coming off competitions and could use a nice easy transition. Also I'll try to get it so that everyone can do something they like. I don't want to jump too far ahead in the assumption, but a New England theme might enable us to combine multiple other concepts (library, fantasy, etc) into one - and transition to the hub/castle fluidly.

I'm liking the Boston theme. A lot of opportunities for an evolution of the classic Main Street. As well as some Liberty Square or spooky New England elements. Maybe I missed it, but what time period were we looking at?

I still think Progress City could be really strong just because of how unique it would be for a Main Street and how it would continue Walt's Story through the entrance lands kind of. That feels like a really great thematic angle to go with to give this land a really meaningful foundation.

The library/literature theme I see as the toughest to execute. At its core, a Main Street is shops and dining. How do you integrate those into a library? But I think this would be the strongest set up to a park as a whole with the focus on storytelling as the thing that binds us all together.

Just as Imagineering never truly throws out an idea, neither will we.

@Mickeynerd17 ‘s Germanic Village is a lovely setting. It might not become our Main Street, but it would work beautifully in Fantasyland...or in a Second Gate.

And if Progress City gets axed here, well, eventually we’ll be making an entertainment/shopping district for our resort. (Also hotels.) Honestly, Progress City sounds very promising as a Disney Springs alternative once we get to that point!

What if the entrance station was a library - one that guests have to walk through before entering the park?

A library would be the perfect thematic tie-in but to me it's not a full land, but rather a location. The overarching literature theme could carry over into all the lands including a Liberty Main Street (Headless Horseman, etc) to Fantasyland (Fairy tales), Frontierland (Huck Finn), Adventureland (Swiss Family), Tomorrowland (Jules Verne), and anything else we decide

So, here's a pitch for a different layout for the Main Street!

Have it sideways pointing out at a 7 Seas Lagoon type lake. 1 direction heads to the Shopping District and a bus hub for hotels (maybe a walkway to the other park too). The other way heads to monorail stations and other TTC stuff for day guests.

Both sides of the street could have slightly different thematic focuses. Like one side is more spooky and one side is more historical perhaps.

The more important buildings like guest services and Emporium can be more to the center of the hub. The more specialty and destination stuff can be more near either entrance since those are things guests will seek out.

One entrance can be the library and the other can be a train station or museum.

The large lake connection can give us a real seaside feel. Boats in the harbor. A show at night.

The lighthouse gives us a Boston weenie to draw us to the center and as we get to the center town square we get the dramatic castle reveal.

The two paths will split the crowds for entrance/exit allowing us to avoid overcrowding without needing the giant wide paths Shanghai used or needing a bypass.

Disneyland Park in Paris has two covered arcades which parallel the central Main Street avenue. These provide protection from winter weather, and serve as a bypass route when parades happen.

We could place our library in one or both of these locations. That works well with land transitions too, like with more sci-fi authors as the library arcade nears Tomorrowland.

Amazing 👏 I love it
