I still really want to set up an armchair imagineering subreddit, but I worry about how active it would be. Also, all of the imagineer-related names are taken and mostly abandoned.
Hey it might work out, if you were curious enough to browse my account, doge and wimpy kid have whole dedicated subs with a whole lot of creations. Armchair imagineering isn't tooo far off from those.

Ok but for all the Epcot love, can we agree that this is a load of bull?

It just seems like a metaphor to me and the design of the paths reflect it?
The metaphor totally falls apart under any scrutiny though. For it to work, that side would need to be focused on things like the arts, creativity, and communication. You've got Imagination, yeah but The Land and The Seas don't exactly fit.

I'm going to continue the hot takes trend and say I have no problem with it and there's no need to overanalyze it.

Left and Right brain is a myth anyway

Oh, absolutely. That "left-brain, right-brain" approach does not work in trying to explain Future World in its current state.

As I said, if you wanted to create some divided set-up, you'd probably have to just rebuild from the ground up. Maybe do one side exploring the natural world, and the other devoted to humanity's development.
