I can’t come up with any hot takes for the Disney parks, so I’ll come up with some for Universal.
*Universal Studios Florida should be renamed to Universal Studios Orlando.
*The Aviary Coaster coming to Beijing > Velocicoaster coming to Orlando.
*HHN should’ve come back to IoA after the Diagon Alley expansion.
*Jaws looked like a good ride but I don’t mind it being closed along with Amity even if it closed before my first visit to Universal.
*Universal Studios Orlando’s park entrance is in desperate need of a redo. It is the worst of all of Universal’s park entrance.
*I’m okay with Universal using screens in their attractions if they are justifiable.
*Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket is one of several attractions in the Orlando resort that needs to go.
*Jurassic World the Ride is highly flawed with missed opportunities.
* I wouldn’t mind if an attraction other than Hagrid’s came as an expansion to some of the other Hogsmeades.

WDW has better pacing and a queue that adds to the experience.
Plus, I like how it takes place during the attacks on Port Royal, rather than going back in time to the attack. It's like viewing the story from a different perspective. The moment you see the Wicked Wench on the horizon before you make the turn to the loading dock, you know you're in for an adventure. Plus, I have always interpreted the cavern bit at the beginning as an escape route out of the fortress through its catacombs.

Hulk hot takes!

USJ’s Flying Dinosaur is the best flying coaster in the world. Yes, it is better than Tatsu.

The Voyage > El Toro

Shanghai Disneyland is the best and most purely enjoyable Castle Park since the original Disneyland.

Velocicoaster is a good name.

Throwing my hat into the ring of hot takes:

Universal Studios is the ugliest of the 7 Orlando parks, and the only reason Seaworld ranks higher is that typically it has gorgeous landscaping versus Studios overuse of studio buildings, and the mess that is the aesthetics World Expo/Kid Zone.

Hagrid's while the coaster itself is cool technologically, the animatronics are very lackluster or just outright bad.

Bride of Frankenstein > Toothfairy (these are the HHN houses that are open this year, I actually did them two days ago)

The ferry is better than the monorail for the TTC.

Princess and the Frog fits just as well as Splash Mountain into WDW's Frontierland if not more.

Epcot Forever > Illuminations, actually all current (prior to COVID shutdown) nighttime shows > Illuminations

Epcot is the weakest of the four Disney parks, and honestly weaker than Islands of Adventure @ Universal. This comes from a combination of the lack of modernization, overdependence on food and beverage, and oversaturation of slower rides. Mind you my favorite rides in Epcot are Living with the Land and Gran Fiesta Tour, but after doing a full day at the park with someone who has never been it really has become apparent how samey the park is.

Disney's Riviera Resort is a waste, and while having Disney art lacks the magic and spirit that all other resorts have.

Some more Disney Hot Takes (I’ve only been to WDW so they’ll be exclusive there)

- Rafiki’s Planet Watch is slept on and is actually one of the best parts of Animal Kingdom. The possibility to see a vet procedure, animal ambassadors, education, plus that black wall with all the animal paintings make for a phenomenal land

- Animal Kingdom is objectively the best of the 4 parks. It’s attraction lineup is the most consistently good, it’s food is the best (better than Epcot IMO), plus it’s so richly themed that you don’t feel like you’re at a theme park at all.

- Dinosaur > All other Rides

- Imagination is overhyped. Granted, I never rode it in its original state, but the videos I’ve seen of it don’t make me wish it was back. It’s fine and better than the current one, but I don’t think it’s the best ride ever.

- Tomorrowland Speedway is the worst attraction in all of Disney World and should be demolished

- Liberty Square is the best of the MK lands

- Happily Ever After > Wishes

- The Frozen Sing Along at Studios is the best stage show.

- (Not park related) but both Frozen films are excellent and deserve all the hype they get

The studio facades, those two lands, and the entranceway are the biggest hinderances to USF overall aesthetically (and in the case of the latter, functionally) that should be addressed in the near future.

And what would that mean?

How many Islands of Adventures are there?

In terms of the ferry is a better mode of transport, at least for me. Whenever I go with my father it's easier to do the ferry as it's easier to get to in a wheelchair versus the trek for the monorail ramp, although I do love a calves workout. Also in terms of choosing a lesser poison for Disney Covid transport the ferry is open air unlike the monorail which you still ride with three other parties unless your parties does actually take up a whole cabin.

How many Islands of Adventures are there?
Not for differentiation from the other parks, but just something I do outta force of habit.

Wow that's a super spicy hot take but I do agree, there have been better dark rides since it had opened and before it as well (Haunted Mansion comes to my mind)

My Imagination hot take....I actually like the 90's imageworks before they remade it to figment and it should have been kept in the state it was in. Stepping tones had animal sounds, the music screens had cool (though very dated cgi) displays of a city alleyway, the air confetti thing looked kinda fun, only bad thing in it was the literal fun house mirrors but I'm pretty sure OG Imageworks had those as well.

Also outside of Stepping tones, Dreamfinder's School of Drama, the paintbrushes, and the iconic rainbow tunnel the OG Imageworks wasn't too great and wasn't as well themed as the ride or the rest of the pavilion. At least new Imageworks is themed to something.

And let's not get started on Magic Eye theater and how all of the shows dated themselves worse than milk (though I do like Magic Journeys and HISTA).

I'm not sure if this is really a hot take, I've seen so many people in imagineering and elsewhere wanting it gone haha. In fact, I'd say it might be a bigger hot take to say the Disneyland equiv. shouldn't be demolished because it was the original, but maybe that's just me haha. Also Disneyland's lost so much it would hurt to see it and subs be demolished even if the replacement makes up for it.
