- Dinosaur in DAK > Indiana Jones Adventure. The first one might get a pass, but I'm sure this will ruffle some feathers. Objectively IJA is the better overall attraction. But Dinosaur (and especially the CTX version) is so creative a concept, the AAs were very well done, and as a Dino fan growing up this related to me more than Indy. Also it's an attraction that represents Animal Kingdom and would be very hard to clone to another park, unlike IJA.
I personally believe Dinosaur's setting is more interesting than the one in Indy. From the science facility to the prehistoric world, all of it oozes charm. Though Indy's setting is cool too, I'd probably go to Dino in a heartbeat if I had to choose between the two.

Another Epcot hot take:

The original Energy was the worst of the original pavilions and the Ellen update while dated is a lot better. However it closed way later than it should have and a ride overhaul with both vehicles and theme (as energy while important is too big of a hot button issue now) was absolutely needed. However Guardians as more time goes on shouldnā€™t have been that. Another dark ride of some sort could have easily fit. Make it the unused space Horizons, weather (you can even loosely fit Up if you want an IP), or even reuse the dinosaurs for an archaeological theme. Anything else would have been better.

While we're giving hot takes, I'll throw out the hottest of Epcot hot takes: outside of Imagination, World of Motion, and maybe Horizons, Epcot Center wasn't as amazing as everyone thinks it was and reeks of that 80s "corporations will save us all!" mindset.
I can see that. The idea of Epcot is great, but the execution was a bit lackluster and that is definitely the risk that can come with corporations sponsoring the attractions.

I only have the vaguest memories of earlier Epcot from when I was little, but it says something that Journey into Imagination and Cranium Command are the two attractions I still remember most from that era.

You should definitely read Marty Sklar's book if you want insight into why EPCOT seems this way. Basically, it was supposed to be a permanent World's Fair.

I think that the only real EPCOT hot take I have is that the '86 Spaceship Earth is vastly overrated. I don't like the Cronkite narration, and I'm not a huge fan of Tomorrow's Child either. '94 is where it's at, and I really wish that Disney would go back to something closer to that. I just love the serious, meandering tone that the ride has, and the score is definitely one of the most mature to come out of a Disney park.

It's on my list.
My statement still stands. It's not that great. Spaceship Earth is a dull, largely eurocentric history lesson, Universe of Energy has inaccurate dinos (even for the time), a cool preshow, and a celebration of oil rather than future clean energies that were being researched like wind, water, and solar power, Wonders of Life had a disturbing Star Tours knockoff and The Talk: The Movie with a charming animatronic show, Horizons was great but honestly I'd rather the three segments were each their own rides, World of Motion is amazing, Imagination is amazing, Listen to the Land is a dry greenhouse tour, Kitchen Cabaret is fun but throwaway, The Seas has a giant aquarium and that's it, and World Showcase has always been a giant internationally themed mall/food court with some rides haphazardly thrown in.
I'm being facetious with these simplifications but as someone who never really experienced Epcot Center, I've never understood the hype beyond WOM and Imagination.

If it were possible to just reinvent Future World from the ground up, I'd take it. That area just needs a strong reinvention to better unify it and capture the spirit of what it could be. I know they're trying with that whole "World Nature" and "World Discovery" stuff, but some of the attraction placement throws off that plan, in my opinion.

Unpopular(?) opinion to kindaa go with what @mickeyfan5534 is saying
90s Epcot aint all that great either! Sure the upgrades given to all the attractions that were able to get one were great! However there were a lot of sore spots such as the attractions that weren't updated that should have been (WOL, Horizons, and Malestrom), the rushed and cheap creation of Your Imagination, and the lack of timelessness the attractions had. 80s Epcot had a level of datedness to it as well, but a lot of attractions still had a certain timelessness (World of Motion, Imagination, Kitchen Kaberet) that the replacements, as good as they were, simply lacked (Food Rocks, Test Track, Ellen, and Imagination being the most obvious examples and arguably Innoventions as well).
However it's easier for me to list good of the 90s Epcot
Test track is debatably better than WOM, 90s SSE is the best version of the ride by far, Ellen makes the Energy attraction actually fun, Tapestry of Nations, Innoventions is a lot cooler of a concept then Communicore was, and the Imagination overhaul, while very very poor execution, does kindaaaaaa make sense and probably would have been pretty decent had the budget been there.
than I can for the 80s version
Arguably more timeless attractions, the best version of Imagination, World of Motion is better themed than either version of Test Track, Communicore was executed better than Innoventions even though it's less interesting, and better songs (except Innoventions and Spaceship Earth which had a total musical upgrade)

I was thinking about it to add to yours I have some 'hot takes' as well (or at least things I consider to be the unpopular opinion) Here's some of mine

- Space Mountain WDW > Space Mountain DL. This may be obvious given my avatars over the years. I'd be abrupt on the reason and just say 'star tunnel music' but I'm just much more of a fan of the ambiance of the WDW version.

- I don't need too many World Showcase rides. If Brazil came without an attraction, I really wouldn't mind. Perhaps it's just me getting older but a Mt. Fuji roller coaster and massive crowds in Japan would possibly take away from the quiet moments eating sushi or listening to Beatles music in the UK while eating fish and chips without a stroller parking area for a Mary Poppins ride.
Hottest take: Dinosaur is my absolute favorite Disney ride ever (not counting Kilimanjaro which is clearly my #1, but that's more of a "visiting a zoo with extra steps" than a "ride" for my criteria. But anyway, I adore Dinosaur and can quote the whole thing verbatim, much to the chagrin of all of my friends and family who have had to ride it with me

1990s EPCOT would've been so much better if they'd left Journey Into Imagination alone.
