While at WDW last weekend, I watched the gas prices drop. The best price I saw was right as we were leaving at the Hess Station on International Dr!! Woohoo! Just had to share my excitement! :sohappy:

the thing to remember... each state (and county) has / can have different gas taxes... so while FLA is just seeing $1.99 other states have seen lower.. such as virginia.

This is true. And if you wish to continue to 'celebrate' lower gas prices, we all need to continue to conserve. Use what you need but need what you use. This way we can continue to keep supply and demand on a even keel.

We aren't in town right now, so my $1.83 price is a little dated. Up here (in Valparaiso, IN) it's currently around $1.90 (I think--I don't do much driving since school is within walking distance).

I know how you feel, at least we are down to £1.07 a litre where we are. When we were last in Florida i could not believe how cheap the gas was! i kept saying to DH are you sure its not per litre!!!
We just need the $ to rise back to its former glory against the £, i hope it does, were not going untill next september so there is time yet, fingers crossed.

Here in the Cincinnati area it's about $1.77 a gallon. I can't believe how low it gets and just keeps dropping.
I'm just so excited because I honestly didn't think I'd get to see it under $2. That is the lowest we've seen it so far, and I'm panhandle FL. I hope FL follows suit of the other states. And yes, I have continued to conserve, even though it is much cheaper. It is just such a relief!:sohappy:

U'know, this is one of those times I hate living in Palm Beach County. We're still at an average of about $2.20 down here. Then again, guess thats the price we pay for not having to deal with snow during the winter. :sohappy: :lol:
