ITTBAB has such clever writing. This…does not seem to.
"I hope no one out there is allergic to ACID"
Makes me howl with laughter every time.

I will miss all the Broadway musical show poster puns. Hysterical. I can't tell you how often we have brought up Claire DeRoom at home. It still makes me laugh. I always thought it would be a good name for a drag queen.

My "good-bye" viewing was a couple of months ago and the show was in such bad shape, it was just sad. I also understand the show frightened so many children as did Alien Encounter. I know Gazelle will be a hit. My 8-year-old grandkid knows all the words to her song and goes nuts for Gazelle. I have hopes this show will be a crowd-pleaser.

Now, if only a new lagoon show would appear. It is such a shame to leave that beautiful venue empty. I thought Rivers of Light was a beautiful show and well-scaled for the space.

As Tally the elf might say, "Get it together, Animal Kingdom"

I think people were just relieved we were getting Zootopia hidden away in the Tree of Life instead of a sub-land taking over Dinosaur.

And I say that as someone who's favourite Pixar film is A Bug's Life and likes It's Tough to Be a Bug and loves Dinosaur and favourite WDW park is Animal Kingdom. When WDW has been on a mission to remove all my favourite attractions since my first visit in 2011 this feels like the best solution in a very bad situation.
This is exactly it. Zootopia at DAK is awful regardless of how it's executed, but I'm glad It's Tough to be a Bug is taking that bullet instead of Dinoland or Planet Watch if it had to happen. It's a small attraction that's easily ignored, replacing another small attraction that's easily ignored. I'll miss it for what it was, but much less than I'll be missing Dinosaur.

Yeah, this is a shame. ITTBAB is a much better fit and a great show. The only thing that makes this potentially redeemable is if this is the only Zootopia presence so it didn't go in TA and maybe whatever goes in AC can be something more exciting, but there is no guarantee this will have any effect on that either way.

Disney has announced It's Tough to be a Bug! will close on March 17, 2025 to be reimagined into Zootopia: Better Zoogether!.

Here's the announcement:

It's Tough to be a Bug! will close permanently on March 17, 2025, to make way for Zootopia: Better Zoogether! coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park in winter 2025.

About time! Glad to see it go

I will miss it. Tough To Be A Bug was hands-down the best 3-D show Disney has created.

Um...I don't know about that.

I am mostly apathetic towards this it’s tough to be a bug was a better fit for the tree but I hope zootopia will be good zoogether is such a bad pun though

Zoonited, zoogether, now…

Some of the most cringe-worthy writing I’ve ever seen or heard.
I get its aimed at the younger crowd, but yikes.

Multiple thoughts:

- NOT a fan of this IP as a replacement. Yet, I am happy that the IP won't have a larger presence in the park. No offense to Zootopia (it is an extremely mid addition to the Disney canon, imho), but it would be destructive to the park if it had any bigger representation.

- A shame this space was not used for an epic National Geographic presentation along the lines of Awesome Planet. Fulfilling the need for Disney affiliated properties to be advertised AND have it be an "original" attraction.

- It's Tough to Be a Bug was a great attraction but has absolutely reached its' expiration date. We all knew this was never going to be a true legacy / permanent attraction.
