    Universal reports record profit

Indeed. It is in the best interest of anyone that goes to either, or both, Universal and/or WDW that they both continue to operate and compete for our money and time.

    Universal reports record profit

I am not too surprised. They've been laying people off in droves and cutting back tremendously. Cutting your way to profits is a short term strategy that can have long term negatives. I hope they intend to spend the money if they want people to come back.

    Rehabs at Universal Orlando????

Doubt it. The track isn't even back in yet, but I guess two weeks is a long time. I haven't heard from anyone just how long it takes to get from the track being completely gone to having the ride fully back in operation. Universal Refurbishments

It's still down and now photos are showing up revealing it is quite a bit away from opening up anytime soon. What's wrong with it? I always thought it was really cool and I never saw anybody come off who didn't like it.

Some characters to take a final bow

Universal has done some things over the years that make me scratch my head. The main thing, of which I am sure to be in the minority on, was getting rid of the Rocky & Bullwinkle store and not having them come out anymore. Add in that Ripsaw Falls is indefinitely closed and I'm wondering why I...

Water Parks: Umm...I don't think so!!

Are you certain about this? This issue has been debated elsewhere, and there have been confirmations AND denials from Disney employees about the water in River Country, whether it is directly from the lagoon, and whether water treatment/conditioning is cause for the permanent shutdown.
