We're thinking of buying annual passes for my wife and I and our 12 year old daughter. We live just north of the ATL and can drive to DW in about 7 hours or so. We'd really only have to go twice to get our money's worth, and they're running a special if you purchase by 3 Jan you get 13 months...

We're driving from the ATL and we'll have a full tank when we leave, but we'd need to fill up at least once during the drive there. Hopefully by Sunday things will settle down a little.

Getting ready to head down to FL on Sunday and there is a huge gas shortage in GA and the surrounding states. Just wondering if anyone has been traveling the last day or two and couldn't find gas.

Called and the earliest they had for dinner was 9PM. Going to try and see what the wait time is when we arrive.

There was a kid in front of me last Friday at Island of Adventures who hat read *#ck Love. Didn't notice it until my 8 year old said, Daddy that boy has a bad word on his hat. Saw him at least 2 more times during the day and was still wearing it.

I was there on Thursday. It's an okay ride. It's freezing inside the ride, and we got stuck on the ride for about 15 minutes just before the doors open and we get to see the live animals. Kind of like the Finding Nemo ride at EPCOT with a cool ending.

15 days and counting. I think we're going to do Islands of Adventure. Going to wait to buy tickets until we get there. Buying online only saves about $5 a ticket on a 1 day admission.

thanks for the insight. Really looking forward to going. Hopefully I can get the wife on Jurassic park since she's not a fan of water rides and got a little scared at DW Dinosaurs at the end. I guess I'll watch a couple of youtube videos.

Regarding the water rides (Jurassic Park in Doo-Right mainly) do you get soaked or like at WDW splash mountain just get somewhat wet. I don't mind getting a little wet but don't want to get soaked. Also how aggressive are the coasters there compared to WDW Rock-n-Rollercoaster?

I checked and height requirements are 54" and she is just about there.
