Wait Time for T-Rex

Driving down to FL next weekend for a cruise out of Port Carnival. Staying at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista the night before and going to check out Disney Springs that nite. My daughter really wants to eat at T-Rex, but can't get a reservation anytime that day online. Anyone know what an average wait time on Sunday evenings might be?

Have you tried calling the restaurant directly? I know at Raglan Road, for example (another Disney Springs restaurant) you can often get a reservation by contacting the restaurant directly, even if the Disney ADR slots there are full. I assume that other non-Disney-owned restaurants at DS (T-Rex is one of them; it's owned by Landry's) do the same thing -- maintaining a fixed bloc of reservation for Disney guests making ADRs through MDE, while keeping other reservations slots open for direct reservations from locals and others. (If you are on the Disney dining plan, you can still use it to pay for your meal, if you wish, even if your reservation was made directly rather than through MDE.)

JimmyJam call them at 407-828-TREX (8739). TRex and Rainforest, both owned by Landry's, don't release many spots to Disney Dinning. If you call them direct when they open you should be able to quickly get a reservation. IF that does not work, sign up for a Landry's card for $20 and it will give you priority seating, you will get a $20 credit on your meal. HOWEVER, I think that you will be very successful on simply calling them direct.

Best of luck and enjoy your meal:)

as stated above definitely give them a call. I've seen that place absolutely slammed at night with waits over an hour
