    Strange Monorail Behavior Tonight

We had alot of the same things going on during our trip in September 2010. Turned out to be a "training mission" for new drivers.

    Raglan Road Anyone?

We have made ADRs at Raglan Road for our trip in August. I have heard the food is good but is the restaurant ok for kids (atmosphere and food). Our kids are almost 9. We have ADRs for 6 pm. Is that too early to be able to see the Irish Dancers? I am afraid to push it out later as we may have to...

HELP!! Resort I wanted is booked! Where to stay...

Definitely POFQ. They are currently undergoing a rehab so rooms now will have Queen beds. You can also use the facilities at POR as well.

    Best Downtown Disney Restaurant

Since OP mentioned that they specifically wanted a DDP restaurant, i would suggest Raglan Road. Fulton's, House of Blues, Portobello and Paradiso 37 are not on the dining plan. Included restaurants are subject to change.

Bounceback code bn6 not working, help

Looking at the Cheshire cat flyer now from our POFQ stay in September. The deal is the same as the general public offer - free dining. The quote of $88 per day per person ($1751 for a 4 night stay) is for a family of four in a standard room. That pricing is for the low end value season, base...

What do you think Legoland will do to WDW's attendance?

The Legoland Florida website shows the pricing at $65 for adults and $55 for kids. With a family of 2 adults and 4 kids, it would cost us about $350 for one day (not including the rental car to get there!). Even though my kids are lego obsessed, no thanks.

    Thoughts/Suggestions on August 2011

We actually went in October 2009 during the record heat (98 degrees and 95% humidity). The kids did remarkably well. We just made sure to keep them hydrated with water (spent most of our snack credits on water!) and took breaks. We also scheduled a TS meal each day to get them out of the heat...

    Thoughts/Suggestions on August 2011

Wondering how the week of August 20-27, 2011 will be? I know it will be hot but... Weather besides heat? Rain etc. Crowds? (it is the first week of free dining) Any other things I should know about this time? Any must dos during this time? My kids will be in 3rd grade and I work at their...

WDW 2011 - Help! When to go?

We have only one day off of school. Would have to take 4 other days off. Not sure if I can do it working at their school :(

WDW 2011 - Help! When to go?

I work at my kids school so I am not sure if I will be able to get off the Sept. 29 week. We have one day off that week, just not sure if I will be allowed to take 4 other days. Think we have ruled out October. So if we end up having to go in August, how bad are the crowds? I know the...

WDW 2011 - Help! When to go?

Oops. I should mention that no matter when we go, we will be at WDW for 7 nights, 8 days. Sorry for the confusion!

WDW 2011 - Help! When to go?

We are definitely planning a 7 nights, 8 days trip to WDW in 2011 and are considering 3 different times. A few things to consider when offering suggestions... 1. We are ok with hot weather 2. We are a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids, 8 years old) 3. Waterparks are a must 4. The kids 9th...

Quick question about booking two rooms

We booked two rooms at POFQ last fall (family of 6). We had one reservation number but needed to put down two deposits.

    Disney Dining Plan or Deluxe?

Dump Planet Hollywood and eat CS at Wolfgang Puck Cafe, much better food IMHO. Pay OOP for Kona breakfast. That should leave you with 7 TS meals, including the 2 LeCellier ressies. The deluxe is a nice deal if you plan on doing alot of signature or other 2 credit meals. With what you have right...
