This rehab seems to be pretty extensive. I am hopeful that the interior show scenes got the same TLC that the outside appears to have received.

That seems too logical for those in charge. From an outsiders perspective, it seems like they would be content with letting all the parks stagnate while jacking up prices for everything. But hey, we will get more meet-and-greets!

I HATE the excuse of not closing attractions down for refurbishment due to all the guests that would be inconvenienced. Refurbishments are a necessary part of maintaining the magic within Disney parks. I'd rather visit WDW and not be able to ride a few rides than be able to experience...

I agree, pristine was too strong a word. It's just dismaying to see the disparity between maintenance of WDW and Disneyland. For the prices they charge (and the increases they inevitably do every year) things should be better than they are.

This is one of the worst things I've ever heard about in terms of Disney parks. Xpass seems bound to anger the average park guest and lead to longer wait times for those of us without million dollar trust funds.

Honestly, I see this program lasting a few years and then being cancelled. I just don't see the market for rich guests who want to take the time and plan out every last aspect of their trip. It's an incredibly stupid idea that will (hopefully) fail miserably for the company.

I'd love to see Apple get involved in the Imagination pavilion. New sponsorship, huge overhaul, increased popularity. That's what I'd love to see happen.
