Fantasy ... here we come !!!!!!!!

8 more days til we board the Fantasy ... our first cruise, so it had to be a Disney cruise

52 days .... our first time on DCL and first cruise ever .... family can't wait .... going on the Fantasy for the eastern Caribbean cruise !!!!!!

Basically, if you look towards Interstate 4 and look for a bright light that will be the space shuttle ... you would enjoy it more being closer ... it's only an hour drive down rt528 and being that close is amazing, especially a night launch ... I did one 2 years ago and it was AWESOME

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the ride has come to a stop and guests are being e-vac'd off the ride .... they didn't say what time it happened but the story was posted at 3:15 est ... that's all I have

a couple of things ... the closest Wal-Mart to the property is on rt 535 which, by cab, is about 15 mins away ... if you want to go there, I would suggest taking the bus from the All Stars to DTD, then geting a cab from there ... that will cut your trip in half ... there is a grocery store just...

I would shop around with all the major companies ... National, Alamo, and Enterprise are all on property. Hertz and Avis have offices on rt 192 just east of World Drive and all companies will pick you up and drop you off from your hotel, whether on or off property ... always remember to ask if...

came out of work this morning in Clermont (northwest of WDW) and saw a few flying around my car .... hoping they're not as bad as past years

best thing for your friend to do would be to buy his own and keep it in the hotel ... there's a WalMart on rt 535 about 5 miles away ... there's also a Publix grocery store just past hotel row where it intersects 535

they haven't said, but I would assume that other bus companies, such as Mears and American Coach are going to be utilized, but you can bet that there will be LONG waits for buses from the parks back to the resorts

Disney would never build a theme park anywhere that the park could not be open and have heavy traffic year round ... this is probably the main reason why you will see Six Flags go under this year ... it's hard in this economy to keep a business running when it's closed almost half the year due...

I keep getting this picture in my head of a family driving their station wagon up to the gates of the Magic Kingdom and seeing the "CLOSED" sign on it ...... now where have I seen this before?????:shrug: .... it's on the tip of my tongue :brick:

the only other way of coming into Orlando from I-95 (main road speaking) would be to continue south past Daytona and go west on sr528 (near the Kennedy Space Center) ... that would take you right straight across pas Orlando Intl. Airport and towards I-4 ... this is definetly the long way to get here
