They cast the Christmas Parade and some of the Christmas shows. As for character auditions, its just like everyone above has been saying. Dont give up and it will definitely be easier the 2nd time around ;)

When I was at MGM the other day, I heard that the some of the shows would be at Indiana Jones Epic Theater. it wouldn't make sense for them to do the shows at LMA's theater because its not covered..it would be really really hot and the bands would be really far away from the audience...the Indy...

Unfortunately, that theater, (even though it is still sitting there fairly intact) is being used for storage i believe...i could be wrong though....
