Surprise trip for DH....help me with resort!

Go with the PORFQ. IT is not as spread out and seems more romantic. Walking down the cobblestone streets after a day at the park is a nice touch.

    Weather?

This is a rather rainy time of year here in Florida, but the extended outlook shows more sun than rain. I would pack mostly shorts and maybe one pair of long pants just in case. Temps should be 70's to 80's during the day and 60's at night. Hope this helps.

Easter happenings around the resort areas

For you pin collecters, do not forget the Easter Day 2004 pin which will be available Easter morning. Get it early because they normally run out by noon time.

The Living Seas: Through the Grapevine

My wife and I did the Dive Quest tour at TLS over this past Thanksgiving holiday. During the dive I looked into the tunnel and the see-cabs are still in place and I did not see any evidence of water leaking. After the dive, I talked with one of our Divemasters who stated there are plans to...

    Horrible WDW commercial

I like the one where the guy sort of flirting with Cindy and his wife comes up behind him and says "easy there prince charming". That one is great>

    Room requests?

Call them and ask them to add it to your reservation at CRO. Also fax it to the hotel you will be staying at no more than 4 days prior to your arrival. If you fax it earlier there is a good chance it will be lost. Put the fax to the attention of the hotels room assigner. Remember, they will...

    How much spending money?!

We always plan on $35.00 - $40.00 a day per person for food. Most of the time we use less and have more to spend in the gift shops. eating off-site is cheaper, but at WDW it is expensive. Hope this helps!

Finding Nemo/Living Seas rehab complete by July!

They did not remove them. My wife and I did the Dive Quest tour at The Living Seas this past Thanksgiving week. During the dive we swam over to the tunnel the SeaCabs ran through and peeked in. The ride system is still in place but is not being used. I asked our Divemaster after the dive if...

What is the big deal with character autographs?

I agree it is for adults and children alike. On our last trip, my wife wanted to have her picture taken with The Beast in the worst way. I went so far as to find out where and when he would be appearing. When Beast and Belle came from backstage, my wife's eyes lit up and she seemed to be...

    Cirque ?

6 months out. If money is not an issue, spend the little extra and get the perfered seating, it is worth it. If you have never been, the show is awsome!

    Be Nice to the CM

Did you press charges on the guy, he deserved to spend some time in the Orange County Hilton (aka: county lock-up). Also that would have made one heck of a law-suit!

    Be Nice to the CM

I think that all of the CM's do a great job despite having to deal with the occasional ignorant guest. I work in law enforcement and deal with those types on a daily basis. I for one appreciate the job you all do. I have even gone so far in my many trips to WDW to let managers know when a CM...

    Behind the Scenes Tours

My wife and I have done the Keys To The Kingdom tour and the Epcot Dive Quest tour (twice). Both were well run and first class all the way. I highly recomend Dive Quest for anyone who is SCUBA certified.

    Apartment in the Castle

My wife and I took the Keys to the Kingdom tour over Thanksgiving. Our guide said an apartment was built in the castle for Walt and his family. It sits above the resturant with windows over looking Fantasyland. It was used for many years by the WDW telephone operators, but now is just storage.

    Resort TV - GONE!!

I for one miss the old one with the (zipa dee doo dah tip for today). On our recent trip I watched the new program once and never turned it on again after that. I know the girl is paid to ham it up, but come on, the show seemed more about her than the parks.
