MK 2/18 - TTA Evac (my first!) Pics + few HM updates

Back in late 2005 during the advantage college program when I was an Attractions host in Fantasyland at It's A Small World we had an evacuation during the summer that was not fun at all. They never are fun. Evacuating guests from the longest attraction within the Magic Kingdom is certainly not...

    Ariel's Grotto Question

It probably will only be possible during the early morning hours and ten minutes before closing, which is usually 8pm. Its best to try your luck during these times of the day.

    little sister

Yes, you must ride Googy's Barnstormer, as no trip to Disney World is complete without stopping there. Named after the drunk Slovakian airline pilot and ex-underworld crime boss Googy the pickpocket. Supposedly his pre-flight checks include drinking a full keg of Bavarian beer and then vomiting...

Mickey's Verry Merry Christmas Parade (with Pics)

I was on the same side as you were, but down near Casey's with the rest of the fantasyland crew. Last night, for me, was the first time watching the parade, and it was pretty great. The best part was as santa passed us by he called out my friend's name.

    Disney in 2006

Oh no, not this one again :brick:. Let me guess, a new monorail platform will be built in the UK pavilion connecting it with the front of the park. :hurl:

    Changes in MK Holiday Decor

Actually it was Mike Love from the Beach Boys. He is also the sole owner of the Beach Boys name (his band played live at the Food and Wine Festival) as he is the main voice heard on all of the big singles from the 60's. Brian Wilson is no longer with the Beach Boys (who broke up after the death...

    Fastpass Issues

As a cast member that still has to endure pan merge point on too many occasions :brick:during both the day and night :hurl: I accept your sympathies with open arms. I swear that some guests can grow a pair of sharp bull horns while waiting to get in. I feel like sometimes I'm going to be beaten...

    Really bad WDW info poll

And with this mind controlling device they control the fate of millions of guests. Even us cast members who work there (I hear the song in my nightmares).:fork: But just one quick pull of the plug and its over. :zipit:

    Cast member salute

I know who your talking about. I work with her almost every day and she is an awesome cast member who truly loves what she does.:sohappy:

    Before Motion.......

It was originally known as the Wildhorse Saloon and opened in 1998. There is one just like it in Nashville and there also was a short-lived tv show taped from the Pleasure Island bar. Hope this helps you.

    MNSSHP Costumes That Stick out

I was working at IASW all last night and saw the family dressed up like Splash mountain fastpasses also. Saw alot of Incredibles characters (there was one tall muscular bald guy who looked the part, except the fact he had no hair), and the family you mentioned dressed up like the characters from...

No, It couldn't be, it wouldn't be. . . is it?

Actually that still isn't it. But it is located near the large door. The homage is hidden very well inside Mr. Sander's house, and can be hard to locate at first, but rest assured, it truly is there. I know I said at one time that it was going to be a copy of the famous Jules Verne novel, but it...

Pooh's Playful Spot Video and Photos

I will post some pics on here as well soon, including the hidden homage to 20,000 Leagues that is found inside Pooh's Playful Spot

    Pooh's Pointless Preview!

I can't give the surprise away yet since the play area doesn't open to the public until September 1st, but it will be located in Pooh's house (which is the giant tree with Piglet poking out across from the Winnie the Pooh ride). Just as there is the Mr. Toad homage in Owl's house, a 20k homage...

    Pooh's Pointless Preview!

For me, the only thing pointless was my training session today for PPS. What a real gagger! It was the most boring hour and a half spent training yet. I should have known better than to expect something a little more substantial from a playground. I can see why no CM's seem to care for this...

    Oh Joy! Piglet

I'll be training there the end of this week. I have seen the photos of what the finished product looks like, and even for a playground it is themed very very well. The young guests who are visiting the Magic Kingdom will certainly enjoy it once it opens. :)

    Old School Disney Game

Yeah, that game sound kind of familiar. The object of the game, if I remember correctly, is to be like Donkey Kong and fling as much stuff as possible (old fruit, barrels, other guests) at those way-to-happy skippers as hey pass by the dock. 3000 points for a direct hit with a coconut to the...

    Winnie The Pooh track question

quote: "Man WDW's fantasyland sucks now." I find it hard to even write a few choice words in response to that comment(due to the language filter), so I'll simply say this: DON'T EVEN GO THERE :fork:

    Celeb Sightings at MGM Lately?

I met American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino last night right before Extra Magic Hours while working at Peter Pan's Flight in Fantasyland, does that count. ;)
