    Top 3 resorts

I've stayed at WL and really wasn't impressed. My picks for the top 3 are: 1. Port Orleans-Riverside-Cresent City French Toast at Boatrights is the best breakfast anywhere! 2. Caribbean Beach: The Peanut Butter Brownies are to die for! 3. All Star Movies: Best themeing, plus the...

    New FP rides

FP is a great service. Even though I live close to the parks, I use it everytime I go. On recent trips, it seems more and more people are complaining about the service, because the SB lines don't move. We need to remember, FP is available to ALL guests in the park. If you choose not to use it...

Doesn't Going to WDW Multiple Times in a Year Desensitize You to the Fun and Magic?

I try to go at least once a month. Try to make it a long weekend. You get to notice the "little" things that you miss if you go rushing by. Like the animals in the Oasis of AK. I once spent about two hours just looking for, and finding the animals. Plus, shows like Beauty and the Beast and...

    Millionaire Phone?

General, I'm surprised someone with your infinite Disney knowledge doesn't know this one... Anyway, the phone is in the vicinity of the FastPass machines. I've been in the area when it rang, but wasn't chosen to take the call.

Event Timings and Days in Sept/Oct

Illuminations is done everynight at 9pm. Wishes should be done most nights during that time. Keep in mind that Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party will be happening during October, so your chances for SpectroMagic will be greatest on a Sunday Night. I was at Disney during Grad Nights, and MK...

    Upgrade

The first time I visited WDW by myself, I was booked for Port Orleans Riverside (will ALWAYS be Dixie Landings). When I arrived after a long day at work, I was told they lost my reservation. The CM went to get a manager, who informed me that I was moved to Wilderness Lodge for no additional...

    Question about Disney resorts

The rooms with the trundle beds already there don't cost any more than any other room at the resort. I've used the trundle beds before and didn't have any additional charge. When making a reservation at POR, make sure to request a room in the Alligator Bayou section.

    Question about Disney resorts

I know that at Port Orleans Riverside (will ALWAYS be Dixie Landings) in the Alligator Bayou section, the rooms have trundle beds. The youngest child could easily sleep there. Some rooms at Carribbean Beach have those as well. Enjoy your trip.

    Casting Questions

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to become a cast member at WDW? I have an interview scheduled for next Thursday, May 6. Anything I should/should not say or ask? Any help is appreciated.

    Parades

bdhowell... I agree the castle cake was not a great idea!! You know, now that I think of it, the Surprise Celebration parade was for the 20th anniversary, not the 25th.

    Pop Century opinions?

POP is a great resort, I had a room overlooking the lake. What a view! Transportation: Be prepared to stand on the busses. There are lots of busses serving the resort, but the resort itself is big. Food: I'm a big guy and I like to eat. I really didn't care for the food that much, especially the...

    Parades

My favorite parade is the Boo to You Halloween parade, followed by SpectroMagic, then the Jammin' Jungle parade. Actually, none of these compare to the Surprise Celebration parade the Magic Kingdom did during the 25th anniversary celebration. That was great, there has been none like it since.
