Is there a ride at this park that isn’t “popular”? Wait times shouldn’t be the judge. The fact of the matter is that this ride has never been up to par with the “Disney standard”, and these long overdue updates aren’t going to change that. What the ride needs is a complete overhaul in terms of...
I get that. But I’ve also noticed a DRASTIC decrease in its popularity over the last decade. Like almost nothing like I’ve seen with any other ride. I remember when it used to be the longest wait in the park. Now it’s typically around the same average wait as the Peoplemover.
Their priorities are entirely in the wrong place. What’s worse is that people are glazing it as an all time “great decision”. If Buzz is such a popular ride, why is it the easiest Lightning lane to secure at 8pm?
It was always going to be a weird fit. You’re taking a rustic cavernous structure themed around small woodland critters and shoving humans in their place. Granted, they could have done a better job with it than they did. What we got was basically the worst case scenario. I doubt they’ll fix it...
Not sure where Len is getting his data from. On his website, it’s ranked 16th overall and 8th when just counting rides. It’s firmly below Big Thunder, Mansion, Pirates, TRON, Mine Train, Peoplemover, and the railroad.
My biggest issue is that it’s a nothing ride where nothing happens and there’s no purpose to any of it. It’s a bunch of figures scattered randomly in dark hallways. There isn’t a true “scene” until you get to the top of the lift hill (6 minutes in). Even the cheapest C ticket dark rides are...
I was thinking they go full out. TT Fair was a miniland at best. Its only attraction was a kiddie coaster. Here they could go bigger than the Disneyland one. A handful of C ticket dark rides. A boat ride. Oswald’s Trolley going throughout the land. Maybe something Epic Mickey?
I still think they should do Toontown. Pack it with a bunch of small dark rides, a Ducktales E ticket, and a water ride themed to Steamboat Willie. DHS needs more quality rides for families with young children. It also needs a touch of classic Disney.
