It seems like it would need to bolted or chained down in order to have any longevity in Florida.

Around 2022 there was a rumor that Tomorrowland was going to be rethemed to the movie Lightyear with both space ranger spin and space mountain receiving major updates. After the movie flopped it was cancelled.

That's why during its winter refurbishment we simply plus that ride up for fun .

I think it’ll need more than one refurb to get the job done. Do it piecemeal and it should be decent…by 2035.

Never heard of this issue on MIB Alien Attack. As people have said... the handheld gun in a theme park is not some wild new technology that hasn't been stress tested.

They have these at a local park in New Hampshire.. Santa's Village where you shoot lasers to tickle Humbugs. They're not that fragile.

Santa's Village is a small regional park that doesn't see anywhere close to the attendance of WDW. It's basically only open the second half of June through August, and then is a weekend only park from September on. It isn't even in the same solar system, let alone same ballpark to compare wear and tear/use their to WDW.

Buzz is fine - I'm glad they are finally updating it. But it's an update that is about 18 years late.. and the kind of improvements we are getting should grouped under "refurb and plussing" and not some major update.

Seems like "buddy" will likely just be added in the first Disco Ball room and replace that set as you rotate around it.

Kinda suprised Disney isn't going to incorporate cameras and videoing of you as you play in each vehicle.. that would be a popular feature in today's self-centric world.

Did you not read the article? The concept art makes it pretty clear that’s not the case.
