A CM cannot tell you what is not their job, if you ask for a mgr then you should get one, if not then hang up and call back right away and ask for a mgr at the beginning.

Yes it did, but after a very polite and very to the point I'm not very happy to a mgr, thay not only got our room ready, but, gave me 100.00 on my room key card for spending, never asked for any compensation but I didn't say no . :D
