Possible First Time Stay @Caribbean Beach...advice?

It took about 8 minutes at a brisk pace. There are internal buses but we didn't bother, we just walked - no hardship with such a pleasant walk round the lake! There's a path that takes you right there and an underpass means you don't even have to cross the road. I agree, the distance was a real...

Possible First Time Stay @Caribbean Beach...advice?

I would say first pick up is best. When we stayed we were in the pirate rooms which were often a last stop and, at peak times, the bus filled by the time it got to us. We walked to port royale to pick up breakfast and caught the bus there. The islands you mentioned are the ones I'd pick if...

Terrified of The Mummy launch. First time, please help

I love coasters so, to me, it is pretty gentle and it builds up to the "fastish" bit.

Terrified of The Mummy launch. First time, please help

It's not nearly as fast as rock n roller coaster or as extreme. You aren't rocketed during the launch either. Take a look at a youtube video. My family love it, even my coaster-phobic husband enjoyed it. He's been on a few times but won't do rock n roller or space mountain.

    WDW Resort Advice

We stayed in the garden wing in October and loved it. We were very close to the main building (3 mins to the lobby) and right by the pool, though not a pool view. We could see the monorail exit from our room but there was no noise. The room was huge and the amenities in the Contemporary were...

Candy Lover in Walt Disney World

I drool over pics I take of the glass cases full of sweet treats and the candy apple displays in candy cauldron! Karamel kuche in the germany pavilion of world showcase does amazing caramel treats-the popcorn is sooo good. At Goofys candy company in disney springs you can build your own treat...

Best Use of Snack Credits on Dining Plan?

The heat killed our appetite and there was so much food at every meal!! With 4 of us that was 28 credits on our last 7 day trip and many snacks were so big we needed to split them or we'd have been rolling round the parks.

Best Use of Snack Credits on Dining Plan?

Caramel popcorn from germany pavilion-big family size bag and soooo delicious. Actually, there are lots of amazing snacks in the world showcase pavilions, the macaron ice cream sandwich in the France pavilion is good and school bread from Norway. Snacking round the world is a fun way to tour...

    Tusker House Restaurant

We did an end of breakfast/beginning of lunch slot at TH. There was a mix of breakfast and lunch items. Plenty of food but not necessarily breakfast, think they were replacing finished breakfast dishes with lunch stuff.

    Typhoon Lagoon or Aquatica

Aquatica was a lot of fun-lots of great slides which we thought were better than TL and a fantastic lazy river, but we love snorkeling with fish in TL and find it easier to negotiate. We spend a half day in TL but a full day would be better for Aquatica. Both are good choices but our fav is...

Les Pay des Contes de Fees

I love that ride!! Peter and the Wolf with the accompanying music is fab. I like the scene with the demon from fantasia too.

    O'Hana

Lilo stitch pluto and mickey in hawaiian shirt. Breakfast served in skillet platters with sausage, bacon, potatoes and scrambled eggs. Mickey waffles served. We enjoyed it and my youngest loves stitch so that made it a huge hit.

    City walk restaurants

We ate at Cowfish without a reservation and were seated (4 of us) straight away in October but it was about 6pm so maybe not peak time?

    Chef Mickeys?

We stayed at Contemporary in Oct and had a similar time slot for our last day. We really enjoyed it. Breakfast buffet comparable to other resorts and a bit more choice (I felt) than the in-park buffet restaurants. Characters came quite quickly so whole meal and meeting each character only took...

    Carribean Beach Resort......

Agree about making a request for a room in one of the buildings just across the bridge for quicker access to Port Royale. It is a spreadout resort (but getting that room as close as you can to Port Royale, without having to pay extra for a preferred room, makes things easier) but it's gorgeous...

1900 Park Fare vs The Crystal Palace

I like CP more than PF for breakfast. The food was very similar but I much prefer the setting and look of CP and, in particular, getting the earliest seating and therefore entry into the park an hour before opening. The characters at PF were very good though, Mary Poppins, Alice and The Hatter...

Need some advice on resort Change

We stayed in pirate rooms at CBR on our 2nd last trip too and also loved it. Last Oct we were planning on POFQ but got a great deal on The Contemp, only an added £350 for the week. We LOVED deluxe. We haven't stayed at WL but it's grounds are gorgeous and you're just a boat ride from the MK and...

    First Time @ Contemporary Resort

LOVED the Contemporary. The MK walkway, monorail access and Contempo Cafe are fab, as said. They have resort pressed penny machines in the lobby for a cheap souvenir and we really enjoyed watching the electric water pageant from the dock. Our CM at check-in was FAB. So funny and lovely. We were...
