Hey guys!

I'm getting excited for my trip at the end of August :)! I've been going since I was two, so around the mid-90s. I've never been a real candy person until recently and now I wanted to ask some fellow candy lovers for some not-to-miss candy creations in Disney World. Anything from chocolates, creations on a stick (candy apples, caramel apples, and marshmallow goods), to to packaged Disney World treats. Let me know!

Thanks! <3

I drool over pics I take of the glass cases full of sweet treats and the candy apple displays in candy cauldron! Karamel kuche in the germany pavilion of world showcase does amazing caramel treats-the popcorn is sooo good. At Goofys candy company in disney springs you can build your own treat choosing the base (marshmallow, crispie, etc) dip, topping and drizzle and they make it right there for you. The fudge is good too.
We love trying the different cupcakes at starring rolls in HS and contempo cafe at the Contemporary. And then there's the dole 20131018_181001.jpg whip...20131018_145050.jpg

Each of my past few trips, I make a final stop at either the Main Street Confectionery or Goofy's Candy Company in DS and stock up on the packaged gummies. The Sour Mickeys are great...not as sour as Sour Patch Kids, but not as plain as the regular Mickey gummies.

I like the English Toffee in the Confectionary. I was never a big fan of toffee and then we went to Disneyland and tried their and it was the start of a beautiful friendship. Disneyland's is better but WDW's is pretty dang good too. I know a lot of people like the fudge, and its okay but I've had better.

The Karamel Kuche in Germany at Epcot has a lot of good chocolate and caramel treats. I like the turtle there, and even though it isn't candy the chocolate caramel cookie there is really good too.

The caramel apples in Germany and ice cream in France are my favorite treats in World Showcase. I haven't been to Disney Springs since its expansion but there are some brand new bakery/pastry shops there as well.

I liked the Darth Vader peanut butter / chocolate cupcake at DHS. Inside the chocolate cake cupcake was a soft peanut butter center, covered by chocolate icing with chocolate and peanut butter sprinkles, with a chocolate Darth Vader head on top. Had one for the last Star Wars Weekend in 2015. Delicious! There are smaller versions still available at DHS.

Does Mitsukoshi in Japan still have a room of Japanese candy? That might be fun for you :)

Yes they do and that's where my fave candy at WDW is. Don't miss out on the green tea Kit Kats, and the Hi-Chews. It's not a candy but the Koala's March cookies are worth it too. As an Italian, I love the Torrone's in the Italian pavilion (my Nonna used to get them for us every XMas), just be aware that they have almonds in them and some have peanuts (in case you are allergic).

If youve become a candyholic... you must visit Goofys Candy Company in Disney Springs. Walk in the door and youre in candy heaven. Theres every type of candy in every form, shape, taste. WE brought home a variety of candies to give out as gifts when we got home. No one objected.
