Changes to Main Dining Room dinner dress suggestions.

That would make DH very happy!! We're going on our first cruise next year and he's already dreading having to "dress" for dinner. He'd love to be able to just change his shirt since he already wears good shorts (not denim) most of the time!

    BOG Lunch Fast Pass/ADR

We pre-ordered our meals last night and had some issues with that. One of the links was not working properly, as DH was able to make all of his selections, but then we couldn't find a way to switch to my name to make my selections. Finally we just added my stuff on to his order and continued...

    BOG Lunch Fast Pass/ADR

I just tried this and it worked!! I have a FastPass+ confirmation for September 2 :D. We have a DVC reservation so I just copied the reservation number right from the My Reservations page on the WDW site and followed the steps. Didn't pre-order food, but I might try to see if we can do that later.

Trip Report Let's go to Disney World...TONIGHT. Our Spontaneous June Trip Report.

Ha! I'm the same way with cameras, I have a fairly cheap Samsung, but all I know about it is the brand!

Trip Report Let's go to Disney World...TONIGHT. Our Spontaneous June Trip Report.

Totally digging the spontaneous trip. DH and I have often had the fantasy "If we left for the airport now we could have dinner in WDW" conversation, but never had the guts to pull the trigger and do it. Can I ask you what camera you have? You're pictures are amazing and from the mirror shot it...

    Silly Restaurant Question..

I can't answer any questions regarding the specific restaurants or their steaks (though I would love to try both of them), but whenever DH and I go out for dinner we very rarely (we're talking once in a blue moon) order a starter or appetizer! If we do, always just split one and even then...

Question regarding Dining Plan vs paying for food separately

I agree with all of the previous posts. On the deluxe dining plan, each person in the room gets 3 table service meals for every night of your stay. Assuming that all 6 of you are staying in one room, that's 18 table service meals per night of your stay (if you're staying 5 nights, that would be...

    Main Street Bakery Changes..

I'm not a coffee drinker so I could not care less about Starbucks. My mom and I ate at the Bakery a couple of times on our trip last year, but seriously doubt that we'll even bother going in to look at the menu when we go back this year since they have removed the cinnamon rolls and the other...

    Disney Cruises through Costco

We booked through Costco and had EXCELLENT customer service. We don't sail until next May, but when we called to book the Costco agent took lots of time to explain everything she could (it's our first cruise). We received our confirmation packet via email while DH was still on the phone with her...

    Possible 1-day surprise. WWYD?!

First of congrats on the 20 years! My DH and I celebrate our 20th next May and we're also doing a cruise on the Fantasy to celebrate. I'm beyond excited, we've never been on any cruise before but had been tossing around the idea and looking at all the cruise lines. Then I found your trip reports...

Garden Grill - whats the real scoop

We haven't been in a few years, but when we went the food was really good and the character interaction was great (especially for this Chip & Dale lover). The only problem I had was that the layout of the restaurant made for some kind of awkward attempts at photos with the characters. Having to...

ADRs In One Week-Am I nuts?

Very true. I think I'm going to keep checking and if something pops up I may book it even though we don't know for sure yet that we're going to be able to take the trip. We should find out in the next two weeks if he can take the time off so I'll be able to cancel in plenty of time if we don't...

ADRs In One Week-Am I nuts?

Actually, just last night DH & I were talking about trying to plan a trip in September (:)) and he was kind of bummed that we probably won't be able to get an ADR there, so I guess he's changed his mind!

ADRs In One Week-Am I nuts?

Yeah, I'm kind of bummed. I think I can probably talk DH in to trying it at some point though. He's pretty adventurous when it comes to dining, but if something sounds too "fancy" he won't want to try it!

ADRs In One Week-Am I nuts?

I can appreciate the no schedule thing, but we really do want to have one TS meal per day. The QS locations are getting much better though!

ADRs In One Week-Am I nuts?

Thanks for all the responses everyone. I feel much better about my plan now. I'm so excited I can hardly stand myself!

ADRs In One Week-Am I nuts?

Thanks! I don't think Mom would want to go to BOG, she's slightly more picky than I am and I don't think she'd be too thrilled with the menu. I think it sounds fabulous, but I'll probably have to try to figure out a way to do a solo trip if I want to eat there, DH doesn't want to try it either

ADRs In One Week-Am I nuts?

AK is never a full day for me whether I'm with Mom or DH, I'm planning on DTD and eating at HOB on our AK day! Mom wasn't thrilled with the choices at AK either. We had such a great trip last spring with one ADR per day, I want to make sure her second trip is just as great. On her first trip I...
