BOG Lunch Fast Pass/ADR

(If this has already been posted- please forgive me)...

I was nosing around another site and they had a link on there to book a fast pass for BOG lunch. I wasn't sure if it would work for me as I haven't received any notifications of us being part of any of the testing groups for Magic Bands/Fast Pass +, but ...it let me log in, took my confirm number, let me pick a date, let me pick a time range, and I even had the option of pre-ordering our food (which I'll do closer to the date as this supposedly really speeds up the process). In fact, it even let me add a celebration to the meal. It didn't generate any kind of confirm number or email, but I read a few posts from this other forum where they said it worked. i.e. you showed up at the beginning of your fastpass/ADR time, gave your name and were checked right in with no wait. I was able to get a spot for the 4 of us for 12-12:15pm on 9/22.

Now, from reading the posts on this other site, it's not going to work for everyone...i.e. some confirm numbers just weren't working. Still, it's worth a try, so for what it's worth...here's the link...

Darn!!.. I tried this and I wasn't able to get in. I guess it might be because my reservations were made through a travel agent and so my confirmation numbers have letters in them. It won't let me enter in the letters. Thanks for the info any way!! Congrats on your fast pass!!

That's too bad :( I passed on the info to my supervisor today and he also had the same problem...i.e. letters in his confirm number. Oh well, hopefully this testing will equate to shorter wait times at lunch for patrons down the road.

That could be it. I can't seem to find any info on how far in advance you can book this, but clearly, it's not on the 180 day window. For some reason, 60 days keeps jumping into my head, but I can't find anything to confirm that.

Same here. I'm going that week as well. I wonder if it will open up as it gets closer to our trips.

It worked for us. We just booked lunch for the 23rd of September. This is really cool. We'll probably take advantage of ordering in advance closer to the time.

The weird thing was, it didn't give us the option for all of our days. It cut us off on the 24th of September (we're there until the 27th). Is there a test going on that ends around that time?

I am going in November and on my app it doesn't even show FP+ for anything??? Where am I to look for this?

I didn't see anything in the FP+ section of my actual account...it was strictly by using the link in the first post of this thread. Ultimately, I don't think you'll be able to test it out until you're at least 60 days out.

The weird thing was, it didn't give us the option for all of our days. It cut us off on the 24th of September (we're there until the 27th). Is there a test going on that ends around that time?

That is odd. I'm not really sure if there is a specific date window where they're doing testing.

Hm, I booked through Disney and always had numbers in my confirmation number. Either way, I can't get in :(

Ah, I see I looked at the FAQ there and this is a random selected part of the testing. Congrats if it let you in!

I just tried this and it worked!! I have a FastPass+ confirmation for September 2 :D. We have a DVC reservation so I just copied the reservation number right from the My Reservations page on the WDW site and followed the steps. Didn't pre-order food, but I might try to see if we can do that later.

Not sure about other poster, but we're at AKL. A guy I worked with said that may also be part of it. I guess certain resorts are being included in testing right now.

I've heard some people have also had luck with their DME info. If this is for your marathon trip, it may also be too far out since we're thinking it's a 60 day window. Mind you- pure speculation...but thinking that could be it.

It seems as though anyone with letters in their reservation won't be able to use the system at this time. Still in the testing phase.

That makes sense. I thought it was a long shot. I can't even get the park hour yet. :) (I mean, they should be up but they are not)
