In practice, this is going to be really tough to pull off for the more popular attractions. You will have to give people really tight return windows and stick to them otherwise the system will quickly fall apart assuming demand remains consistent throughout the day.

Totally agree. The (maybe-not-so) microtransaction business is off-putting. Probably another example of Disney creating a problem and then eventually offering a very expensive paid solution (unlimited lightening+!).

Definitely agree with this - I assume Disney has caught on that the resorts are a draw in their own right and folks are willing to pay a premium to stay there.

Although neither are ideal, I’d rather have the current boarding group system than virtual standby - seems like they accomplish the same goal but the former gives you a bit more control over your day.

Totally agree. The point I was making is that there is a clear precedent and market at WDW for this level of pricing - $5000/d VIP tour, etc.

Will be interesting to see how they make the transport to Batuu a memorable experience when they are moving approx 400 people (8-10 round trips assuming one transport?) in a short amount of time, albeit for a short distance.

Do we think they’ll put her Golden 50th statue in front of the new RnRc or in a different park to divide the crowds?

Doubt they care. With full occupancy this thing is likely profitable after year 2. Not to mention the huge amount of publicity/brand expansion this project generates, which frankly may be reason number 1 why it was built.

Agreed. At most a targeted offer for a place like AKL that seems to still have a lot of availability for the fall (and one of the most inflated rack rates IMHO).

I assume this is the main reason VIP Tours still don’t get access to RoR (which has always seemed strange to me)…keep guaranteed access a Halcyon exclusive…

This is the initial, low season, up-charge excluded price…double it for X-mas (or Life Day)…

The price point (lower than I expected) indicates to me that you are basically paying for unique all-inclusive accommodations plus a half-day in SWGE and a few other unique/brief activities. Pretty similar to a family of four living it up for 3 days/2 nights at WDW… $2000 for two nights at a...

No mention of costumes? Not quite the same vibe if half the crowd are wearing most-expensive-day-ever t-shirts.

Agreed - I thought it would be more. Would imagine the Captain’s table is the tip of the up-charge iceberg (pun intended).

Gotta believe 99% of people doing this have already spent a ton of time in SWGE. Gonna be hard to make this excursion seem worth it. Maybe it turns into Nassau and everybody just stays on the ship.
