We were just at WDW for the past 10 days. It's been a long standing family Xmas tradition. Let me tell you, I've never seen it so busy ! So much for the recession ! My wife posted pics here yesterday. I was going to post mine but, my photog skills rather suck.

Personally, I don't like anything Stitch. As for CBJ, I find it rather amusing. Though to be honest, seen the refurb yesterday & I couldn't tell the difference.

Waited 90 minutes or so for Soarin. But, that wait was unintentional. Ride went down about half way through the line. Decided to wait. No harm, no foul.

To be honest, I leave it at the hotel. Though I sometimes carry in DtD, only at night. I couldn't live with myself if something went down & I didn't/couldn't help someone.

This is a super sensitive subject. So with all due respect, my reply is simply my view. I have a concealed carry permit & always carry. I would never in the face of a situation want to become a sitting duck. Better to be prepared than sorry.

After reading various threads on refurbs & the like, I noticed that WDW/TDO are always, or seem to be, lacking behind all the other Disney Parks. I know this isn't a simple question but, any idea's why/how this can be ?

This makes sense to me. Probably why DtD has been in disarray for all this time. Let me add that, I was told there was an engineering problem with the coaster itself.It was supposed to rock back & forth as well, but designers couldn't make that work.
