Not sure if this makes any sense, but perhaps events like the NBA or March madness & such are held in closed arena's, while WDW is open-aired?

Basically, to give them a "participant trophy" in the form of a NYE bowl. Which is rather lame. 2 years ago UCF should've received a shot.

IMO, definitely worth it. Went last year & going again this year. Personally, it's my favorite time of the year to visit. Can be crowded but people are more pleasant.

Kinda disappointed that only one attraction will be opened on the 29th, because we booked FQ for the long holiday weekend. However, on the bright side, all parks will have extra morning hours. Plus, we did manage to book MNSSHP.

We were there on Monday as well. The lines were a little longer than I thought they would be. But that stage show though!!!

We booked, I think July 1st. Can't remember. Sometime during that week for sure. Coffee hasn't kicked in yet. Anyway, really looking forward to it.

Booked a last minute weekend trip as well. GMR & EEA one last time. Both are good attractions, but GMR is the flagship attraction for DHS. Sad to see it go.

I always felt that GAMR was the flagship attraction for the park. Sometimes progress isn't good. Anyway, we will be there on the13th for one last ride, into the sunset!

I know we went to see it, but don't remember it at all. I guess that says something.

I don't think Walt was racist, rather just a product of the times. Which could be said for every generation, including ours. I do wonder, however, if Walt would've expanded the "product" overseas. Especially in communists countries. Or perhaps, just continued with EPCOT?

According to the CM who guided us on the "Keys" tour, it was never explained. I know, anti-climatic.

North west of Tampa. About a 90-minute drive, depending on traffic. We go when we can, but it never seems to be enough!

Finally got to see HEA this past weekend. IMHO, HEA is far superior to Wishes. It really was a breathtaking show. Can't wait to see it again & again.
