We are from NY (just outside of NYC) and we just got back from Florida (no WDW this time :( ) an I have to say our favorite place to stop is Cracker Barrel since there really are none by us. They are right off of the exits (easy on & off) and you know you will get a decent meal no matter where...

Love Kona & Chef Mickey's, but our favorite sit down breakfast is the all you care to eat skillet at the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the WL; it's a MUST do every trip (sometimes twice).

We have done both as there are benefit to each. We like getting in early & getting things done before the park gets too crowded, but we like staying late because the parks take on a different atmosphere at night (Haunted Mansion at 2 am is MUCH better than 12 noon).

We did the wine flights in Boma at the AKL and I've come to really like the South African wines (especially the Clouds SAUVIGNON BLANC ).
