I agree 100%..I felt so stupid...a few friends and I went to TL and when I saw the fireworks on the ground I forgot the backstory and started to question why it was there...but yeah that backstory is classic Disney.

Yes it was originally a shopping Village...with plans to expand and create housing like the original prototype of Epcot, but those plans never occurred. Now if you were looking for a story, there was one that went around this past week about the backstory to Pleasure Island and I'll give credit...

No the Imax theatre will be in AMC, has nothing to do with Disney nor Virgin. That was a rumor that was started that was shot down quickly by a lot of those in the know at both Downtown Disney and AMC Theatres 24.

There are ways around it; for Magic Kingdom just go to the Contemporary and make the quick walk to the MK. For the studios and Epcot just go to Boardwalk or Yacht and Beach and walk. Only one you won't have walking access to would be the Animal Kingdom.

Yeti was there on Monday...was it possible that you missed it on Saturday?

There was a Cheesecake Factory in Disney Quest...wasn't that popular from what I remember.

Only because there have been so many of the plushes that have come out recently. If they only came out with 1 or 2 a year then they'd go quick but with so many different ones...I mean the 25th anniversary ones went very quick and the Christmas ones went kinda quick but then ok let's oversaturate...

Am I missing something...what I read on AMC's site is that AMC 24 is getting an Imax...I don't see anywhere where it says that it's going into Virgin. It wouldn't surprise me if theatre 1 or 2 goes through that transition but I don't see it going into Virgin unless it's there and I'm missing it.

I just wish hardcard would complain as much when 50 different Space Mountain Threads are started... Anyway as one who works in Downtown Disney...I cannot tell you how many times I am asked a day when the clubs open or why they closed...
