You create a minute by minute itinerary which you know would've been precise to the second, then throw it out when you get there since you no longer want your day to be "planned".

I can't add much that hasn't been said already, but I stay there every time I go, and I've been to a couple of the more expensive ones too. The All Star resorts are awesome. My only suggestion would be to look at a map, and request a building close to the bus stop. If you're going for 10 days...

We always used to get there in the late afternoon on the first day and do Downtown Disney things so we can avoid early check-in. With the Magic Your Way packages these days though, we might just spend an extra few bucks and head to the parks on the first day too. But I'm still a big fan of the...

I like reading when people do 1 best and 1 worst from each park, so that's what I'll do (besides, I have to go to work in 15 minutes so there's no way I can rate every ride). MK: Best - Splash Mountain (10)... Always fun, and the normally obnoxious children that wait in line with you are...

We always save most of our money for DTD/PI... We're not out to get drunk or anything, but we do enjoy a few drinks there and we don't hold back when we see that they cost 5 bucks a piece (especially the fantastic jello shots at PI)... Just for one night anyway... We also buy some fudge to enjoy...

First time I experienced Muppetvision... I'm a bigtime Muppet fan and was completely mesmorized by it... I still love it every time I go back there, but there's nothing like the first time you see it... The pre-show alone is just spectacular.

I won't ride those slides either for past injury reasons, but I was injured in a slightly more, shall we say, uncomfortable place. I wish a back-scraping was all I got :dazzle:

Adventurers club on the first night would be a great way to get him into the disney spirit while at the same time letting him drink to his heart's desire... or his liver's capacity... whichever fills first... The jello shots they sell at PI are also fantastic, and the containers they come in...

We used to do the See No Evil thing all the time... But then finally there were more than three of us who wanted to be a part of it... So I said I'd sit out of it... Then when the camera took the picture I was scratching my head, and made a really dumb look... I was also the only one looking...

Phish... imagine people on THAT ride... "dude... this roller coaster is like... dude... it's... moving... and everything is so GREEEEEEN..." And it would guarantee a lot of money being spent at snackbars next to the ride ;-)

We do all our shopping and picture-taking on the last day... I hate carrying anything in the parks... backpacks, cameras, shopping bags, anything... So we wait until the very last day and do all of that carrying at the same time... Then after dropping all our stuff off, we head back to the parks...

I found it a little bit more crowded during the morning EMH... can't say i've ever been there for e-ride nights... I'd have to say that AK was worst in the early morning hours (and EVERYONE was going to the safari)... There were very few people there at the studios and epcot... MK was so-so...

I'd agree with Laura about the crowds tending to head towards tomorrowland first... however, don't forget about fastpass... if you do go to tomorrowland first, don't make frontierland your last stop... use fastpass at splash mtn, then head back out and do whatever you'd like to do next... vice...

I like to "eat around the world" at epcot... If you go with a group, you all alternate buying 1 meal to share at each country (this is not recommended for people who are really really picky and/or unwilling to try new and unusual things)... So it's not TOO expensive... I've done it with just 2...
