EMH Crowds

We'll be at WDW the third week of June :sohappy:, and we were wondering how well the EMH program is working out so far. In the past we had taken advantage of E nights at MK and it was great - no lines to speak of really. With this being a free option now for all resort guests, has anyone found it to be a lot more crowded than in the past?

I found it a little bit more crowded during the morning EMH... can't say i've ever been there for e-ride nights... I'd have to say that AK was worst in the early morning hours (and EVERYONE was going to the safari)... There were very few people there at the studios and epcot... MK was so-so... We still had a nice race with some of the younger guests to ToT and RnRC at the studios though... Not that you need to race... There definitely are a small enough amount of people there that you can get onto any 2 rides within 10-15 minutes. Enjoy!

We had a great experience with Evening EMH at all the parks the last week of April (Further details on request). However, I heard that some Evening EMH visitors have had lines longer than they thought they should be. Most of those quit after the first hour, however, so it's hard to tell.

We didn't manage to get to any Morning EMH. We planned to, but it just didn't work out that way.

It's been said that the parks tend to be more crowded just after Morning EMH and just before Evening EMH (see the UG). Don't know if this is really true in general. We were at MGM just before Evening EMH (Sun, Apr 24) and rode ToT with a <10 min wait.

Three weeks untill im there!!!

Some of our friends went a couple of weeks ago and said the last two hours of the evening emh were bliss, first hour busier but still not too bad. They said especially AK at night was lovely- much cooler than during the day (obviously) and they experienced different kinds of animal behaviour aswell. The other thing they pointed out was the two showings of fantasmic on emh days at mgm, they could walk into the 10:30 showing 15 minutes before it started and get a great view.

I personally cant wait, we dont mind staying up a bit later so i think we will get a lot out of the emh. We certainly loved e-ride nights.....splash mountain 6 times in a row...on the sixth time finally got my mum to lift her hands up as we went down the drop. tee hee.

We'll be there the third week in June as well, and I was wondering the same thing. I was hoping the evening EMH would be less crowded, because I'm sure with the summer crowds it's going to be crazy during the day.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Thanks for all the info friends - it sounds like we should plan to sleep in and take advantage of the evening EMH. I can definitely live with that!:p

26 more days!!!!
