See above - I was talking about our children's concern - not mine.

Of course I know Disney uses fail-safes to prevent such an occurrence - but try explaining that to terrified children. No amount of logic and reasoning will do when emotions have run away.

That happened to our family once, only they couldn't get the ride vehicle going again and we had to be evacuated. The entire time we were sitting there before the evac, our children were terrified another ride vehicle was going to come down and squish us.

This rumor reminds me of the pre-release hype for The Black Cauldron film, including an elaborate castle mystery tour (gone now) at Tokyo Disneyland that featured characters and story line from The Black Cauldron.

Welcome to WDWMagic :wave:. You have some great ideas for Soarin' - expect for the smoke from the shuttle lift off - it might freak some people out (unable to see while being suspended, ashma, etc). But I wouldn't mind a good rumble effect :).

It used to be more worth while than it is now, but it's still a good place to escape the heat and look around. Plus, you can try out a Segway for a few minutes for FREE. Our sons used to love to do the hands-on exhibits - virtural reality, etc., but now technology changes so rapidly...

After all the hype about how advanced and amazing the Yeti is (was), it's embarrassing that it's been broken for so long. No doubt the level of complexity of the Yeti makes it challenging to repair, but this is Disney - a brand that prides itself on good show.

Nice! Ummm....where is this? It says TTA, but I don't remember seeing it while on the TTA. Is it from Mickey's Star Traders or Merchant of Venus? I don't shop much inside the parks, so store interiors are a mystery to me :lol:.
