News The Hall of Presidents is now open

i guess the annoying parts of these posts is -- while yes, we've all been there: hot, tired, and/or hungry and hit with some glorious AC in a dark theatre when the spontaneity of an unintended mid-afternoon nap crops up -- the idea of almost every attraction on that list is that it is meant to...

News The Hall of Presidents is now open

it's almost as if everything you just said is completely subjective, and thus, wouldn't make it "universally" boring. but ya know...i'm not a chemist, so what do i know?

    EPCOT Center 35th Anniversary Events?

when i was a kid, i would always fight the second epcot day my dad had planned, because, "let's just go back to the magic kingdom." but every time i sat through o canada or horizons or the universe of energy, something interesting happened. my mind grew. i became interested in other things. i...

    Hurricane Irma

i mean, i get that many can't afford to be that picky. a lot of americans (thankfully, not me) work for jerks or overbearing corporations. it's the rule, not the exception. and i'm sure that after all the hard work of scheduling and planning a WDW trip, coupled with the year-plus-long...

    Expedition Everest effects status watch

marni has enough of a track record here (seriously, go take a gander at his posts the last six-to-nine months compared to what was announced at D23) to be believed. people don't just come out and name sources, otherwise they wouldn't get very good information anymore. so while you don't have...

Guardians of the Galaxy coming to Energy Pavilion at Epcot

you're right. every time bill nye says global warming is a "hot topic with plenty of debate," it makes me cringe. i always wonder if he regrets that, and/or taking exxon's money to say it.. nevertheless, and don't take this as an attack on you, TJ, because i agree that kids (and adults, for...

Star Wars All-Inclusive "Star Ship" Resort?

a lot of people get on a boat and they sail you around while cooking for you and offering entertainment. ;) also, how are we getting bogged down into an argument about how popular star wars is? it's very popular. many people love it, while some others don't. that's basically the gist of it. i...

A Terror-rific Spirited 13th (ToT fans have lots to fear)...

absolutely, but as we know, they're considered destination parks, which (especially in MK's case) is based on reputation and legacy. the attendance of the secondary parks is far more indicative of the health of the resort as a whole, and the TEA numbers just don't give us an honest picture.

A Terror-rific Spirited 13th (ToT fans have lots to fear)...

can we stop citing self-reported attendance numbers? they're about as meaningful as 2016 political polling.

    Hurricane Matthew

this is why when people like @Ratatouille argue it's someone's right to stay in an evacuation zone, it's a flawed argument: when you don't evacuate, you're willingly putting other lives in danger for your own selfishness. that is pretty much the biggest jerk move a human being can make.

    News Tomorrowland love

yes, but did you coat the bottom of your fan boat with it and race around the everglades? only then will you be a true flexseal master. excellent to hear this about tomorrowland. it's incredible to think (especially if you were a regular in the 70s, 80s, and most of the 90s, when anything that...
