Disneyland Snacks Not to Be Missed

There's a raspberry topped cheesecake at Jolly Holiday Bakery that is to die for. I just had it for the second time on Friday and it was better than I remembered. I used to be obsessed with cream cheese stuffed pretzels (available at 3 locations), but haven't had any lately. Ever since they...

WDW and DLR in same day?

It's easier the other way around. Going from California to Florida you lose 3 hours. If you hit up WDW in the morning, you can hop on a plane to Orange County, CA in the afternoon, and be in Disneyland by dinnertime because you gain 3 hours going West. We've considered it a few times, since...

    Why the hate???

Though we do watch a lot of Full House and own every season on DVD, I can't imagine that I've posted anything about Bob Saget in the past 9 years other than maybe to talk about seeing him at the comedy club a couple years ago.

    Why the hate???

Very few of those 17,000 have anything to do with Disney, I can tell you that much!

    Why the hate???

Not even sure what the topic is anymore. Seems to have derailed a few pages back, but There are many places in the world to visit, a good bunch of them of them are more entertaining, meaningful, and awe-inspiring than Disney World. Grand Canyon vs. teenage girl prancing around in a mouse...

    Disney with five people

We act like adults. We get to the loading area, and someone says, "I'll ride alone". Then at the next ride, someone else volunteers. No need to pre-plan such things.

Random Musings from a Disneyland Trip

I can't imagine you enjoy eating anything anymore. Did you have sourdough? That sounds very painful.

Random Musings from a Disneyland Trip

As far as the food, you can't lose with Pacific Wharf Cafe. I am addicted to their turkey sandwiches. I usually get a turkey sandwich at Pacific Wharf and haul it over to Flo's where James gets his food and we eat out on the porch there by RSR. Then some Ghiradelli for dessert later on. La...

Disappointing is too kind of a word.

Random Musings from a Disneyland Trip

I have to completely disagree. I DESPISE the parking structure. It never fails that they park me in the farthest back corner of the garage, which is about 6 miles from the tram. So after the 3 hour hike to the tram, you then wait in a line for the tram, ride the tram, and then get dropped in...

That's because they are putting the show ON you.

    Tom's 2013 DLR Trip Report

Looks like there's already been a lot of commentary on the fireworks, which is what I was going to comment on. I HATE Magical. It's the crappiest fireworks show I've ever seen. I am surprised you had to wait to see it. I've never once waited to see fireworks at Disneyland. I just show up 5...

    Earl of Sandwich

I never realized 30 miles was a long way to drive for anything. I drive almost that far to go to work every day. As @NemoRocks said, we drive much further than that to eat out at various places almost every week. I've never thought anything of it.

You've Got To Be Kidding Me

Wow, good luck! I am terrified of losing pictures. I have always emptied my memory cards on a nightly basis. These days it's even better as I'm able to to throw them on the iPad each night, which then automatically puts them online.

Would you enjoy visiting Disney more if money was no object?

Seeing as "lack of money" is the only thing ever on my mind while on vacation (stressing about how much I spent each day, wondering if I'll have enough to last the week, etc), I can't imagine how fun a vacation WITHOUT a budget would be. Not that I'd do much different, but just the freedom from...

    80 degree Christmas?

I think you're all wimps. :p These are the kind of winters I grew up with It's not really Christmas, unless the snow is over 6 feet deep. o_O I live in So Cal now and it feels really lame to listen to Christmas music about "frightful weather" and see inflatable snowmen and lighted...

Do you resemble a Disney Character?

Seriously. Anyone can say they look like a princess, but I'm guessing they may be a bit biased. Need proof! I look like no one.

A complaint letter to WDW about your favorite rare or retired character.

So you want Disney to pay cast members to stand around every day, year-round, in costumes hardly anyone cares about, just to increase the likelihood that you, personally, will run into Flik or Atta on your vacation? That makes a lot of financial sense.

That looks so amazing. I think you've confirmed my decision to use this company next time. Thanks for posting the pics/videos.

Cosmic's coming to the land of Queen Calafia!

I've been whale watching 3 times so far. Once in San Diego and twice in Dana Point. All 3 times I saw tons and tons of whales and dolphins. The best experience of my life was the one in San Diego where a humpback whale put on a 30 minute show right off the side of the boat - jumping out of...
