Was anyone in Disney first week of October?

This is a little scary (in a good way), we were in the World from September 26 to October 02 of this year, we were also there from November 24 through December 06 of 2017.

A free trip to Disney vs. a trip to the Super Bowl (or a favorite location of yours)

I love to play all the different sports, but I never watch any pro or college sports. I feel it is extremely overrated. I love going to Disney, we usually go twice a year. But there are other places I love or want to visit also. This year we went back to Jamaica. If given the choice and...

Canada Martin Short 360: worst film on property

I find it to be okay, I personally don't care for 360 degree movies, you are unable to concentrate on any one part. If I remember correctly, the average person has a 180 degree field of view. I just don't like swiveling my head constantly trying to see things.

    FP for shows—is it necessary?

Not that you are wrong, I just feel that being towards the center at many of the shows improves it showing. The main focus tends to be centered. The other bad seat is when a 6'9" person sits in front of you (a little exaggeration here), I have, on few occasions, a tall person sit in front of me...

Worst Disney World hotel experience thread

That is true, though, if I remember correctly, I recall hearing children's voices, at least at times.

Worst Disney World hotel experience thread

In 2013 we were staying in the Dolphin the week before Christmas. On our last two nights there a bunch of family's must have shown up together and were a group known to each other. Our last day was the 21st and they first arrived on Friday the 20th. At around two in the morning I was woken from...

    Advice for a WDW newbie...

I will be the first to say it than, I will not wait more than forty five minutes for any ride. If you can't get a FP+ for FoP or Slinky Dog for that matter, try to do rope drop or get in line five minutes before close. September 2017, the year FoP opened, we waited around thirty five minutes...

Was anyone in Disney first week of October?

We were there the first couple days of October, so this may not answer your question. We were there from September 26th to October 2nd and we were pleasantly surprised by the low waits. The year before we went in the middle of September and it was much busier. We try to stay away from October as...

    Disney on a BUDGET

Right off the bat you would have around $600 for tickets. Depending where you are flying from, $400-$500 for airfare. There are cheaper flights, but I would have to know where from. If you want Disney express, than you have to stay on-site, the cheapest around that time would be the campsites...

    Leaving the studios at night

I am not sure as to what you are asking, are you watching the JBJB show, the fireworks are part of this show. If you are leaving during the show, yes sticking by Brown Derby will make a straight path to the entrance. If you are watching the whole show than it may still make it easier to leave...

    Good resorts

If I were judging just on themeing, Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge. For best in comfort, the Dolphin or Swan, the beds are amazing. The Dolphin and Swan win out most of the time, we spend such little time in the room, the only thing that matters to us is the comfort and location and...

    Ever Rising Room Rates

Keep checking, discounts will come. I agree that that price is ridiculous. This is why we mostly stay at the Dolphin and or Swan, we usually pay around $180 a night and they have the best beds in Disney.

    All-Star Movies Renovations

Theory is all All-Stars to be completed by end of 2018, there would be an excellent chance that by Dec 20th most rooms would be done and you should be able to score a renovated room.

    Favorite park

This is tough, my favorite ride is at HS, my favorite show is at Animal Kingdom, but over all fun is at the Magic Kingdom. But if I was pressed, I would have to go with Magic Kingdom. The number of awesome rides, the Muppets Presents and HoP and decent enough restaurants. There is also the...
