We were going through some old Disney stuff and came upon a "Future Splash Mountaineer" certificate that my son got in 1995. It lists the height requirement at 44 inches. I'm kind of curious - does anyone know when the requirement dropped to 40 inches?

The scenery shots and music are both outstanding and I still enjoy an occasional visit. Yes, the clothing and vehicles do "date" it a bit. An update to a few scenes would be great but in the big picture aren't really critical. Maybe I am just a bit nostalgic since this is "an Epcot Original".
