Not an attraction, but probably the most nostalgic thing at WDW for me is MSEP. I remember seeing it at a very young age and being absolutely amazed by it. I really miss the circus segment of the parade.

Well, when I think nostalgic as in fond memories of past visits, then it is CoP and TTA. Both are sentimental favorites that we look forward to experiencing several times a trip. We are very disappointed when either is down.

When I think of what represents the history of the parks, then I'd say IASW. To me, IASW is what Walt's vision is about: fun, inspirational, and technology (for it's time, anyway) combined. Not the best, most thrilling, or flashy attraction, but it's one I associate Disney with.

I'd probably go with Small World, though Dumbo deserves some love, because even though it's a very archaic ride, something about the lovable elephant makes it a legendary crowd pleaser.

I had to go with Carousel of Progress here. For starters, it was Walt's baby in 1964. It also goes back to the turn of the century and seeing technology through the years. Was at the World's Fair in 1964 also. Is dripping with nostalgia.

Small World is right there too as it premiered the exact same time. I am probably not the only one that does this but if I am on the computer I use background music from that ride during one of the ride-throughs that people record. I love that song.

Other than that, Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion were on the table before Walt died. I think Pirates was complete just before he passed. Country Bear Jamboree is another one. I know it was a very rough draft at the time of Walt's death but I don't know, it's just nostalgic, it's been there since day one.

"El Gran Magnifico"

Mr Flibble is Very Cross.
Jungle Cruise because the jokes seem to be the same as 1971. Now that's nostalgia.

Seriously though, you may not classify it as a ride. I kind of do. The Monorail. Driving in on the first day of a vacation you know you're in Disney once you see the first monorail. You shoulders loosen up you take a breath and realize...okay I'm back at Disney.

I voted for one but when I think about it there is a six way tie..... It's a small world,
Carousel of Progress, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Carribean.

I have to go with "It's a Small World".
I love the ride...but only because of the Nostalgia.
Let be truly honest...could it survive with out the Nostalgia factor?
I think the others could. I am not so convinced with IaSW.
Honestly, what is a better dark ride than Small World? It's easily the longest, most intricate dark ride left at WDW.

Sure, the other have their story, but they are incredibly short with really no major effects. Small World is enormous in scale and has many large rooms with many animatronics.

Driving in on the first day of a vacation you know you're in Disney once you see the first monorail.

I usually fly into Orlando International Airport, get my rental car, and then spend the whole 30 minute drive screaming "I WANNA SEE A MONORAIL!!!"

For me the most nostalgic is Tower of Terror, because we rode it so many times as kids and I have the fondest memories from those trips with the family. It's still my all time favorite ride today!
