You have confused me more now, so SWL announced and budget approved but there are no concrete plans for any attractions yet? The attractions in TSL in DHS are just upgrades to which attractions in HKL exactly?
Forgive me for my ignorance, but how could Disney go and announce a new SWL and not already have greenlit plans for the attractions in said lands? I mean did the BOD just say go and build whatever you want, budget approved?
Well you could sort of pull-off Endor in AK if you wanted to do a 2 park presence for SW like UNI did with HP. Although there is no easy transport between the 2 lands so they wont have that connection. But it would be cool to go from Pandora to Endor... :)
or maybe i'm crazy
Yes, even if the attraction is great it will still be a nightmare in that area of the park. Actually more so if is done well. This will be extremely popular
I just had this vision of the creative process on how we arrived at this attraction.
Manager: Guys! This doesn't have to be a good attraction. It's Frozen, anything we build for Frozen will attract droves of people regardless of quality. I mean look at DHS for crying out loud. Let's just...
SO do you guys think they will use the GMR as a transition into SWL? I recall images of the original SW premiere in the Chinese Theater. They could choose to recreate that night and use it as a permanent transition into SWL.
So SWL is another Frostrom....just a simple overlay to part of DHS... :) That, at least, would be consistent with Disney's recent decisions.
FTR... I am totally mocking some of the D&G's on this forum. All in good fun of course.
What do you guys think that building I am pointing at with the Red Arrow is? I see what looks like the packaging of a Buzz Lightyear action figure in that space ship looking thing on top. Not sure if that is a restaurant or something else.
Ohhh I get that, but just sayin' Disney has obviously gone sour in your mind and clinging to the past by adding negativity towards anything new Disney does is not the right way to go about it. Honestly, you seem like an educated person so I can only assume you know exactly what you are doing...
There really isn't an easy way to transition to a Galaxy Far Far away from Hollywood Blvd. I mean all they can do is build some sort of Entry way (Arch?) themed to star wars to let visitors know they are entering a new "land" in the park.
Ohh a Roller Coaster around the World.... They could design a unique attraction that will start in one end of WS and transport you through all the nations in the WS. It doesn't have to be a thrill ride maybe just some thrilling elements but have it slow down in each world pavilion and...
