I’d rather Disneyland keep it lol. It’s a nice parade, but FOF is better.

I think what’s there currently is actually quite good. Floats are beautiful, costumes gorgeous, music fun and catchy. But for me it just needs more. Whether it’s more performers or one more unit. In its current state, it still feels like just the minimum amount required from a Disney parade.

I mean, there is an entire section of Fantasyland Forest dedicated to BATB. But is there space back there for the showbuilding?

Ironically, this looks a lot closer to the original concept art that what we have now. As much as I like the current color scheme, this would have been really elegant and royal. It feels more like Cinderella Castle in this photoshop. Really nicely done.

They’ve been painting the base a darker gray and I think it helps offset the rich blue on the turrets and compliments the pink upper half much better.

I do like this a lot. And it’s much closer to the concept art and feels more dramatic. I wonder if the choice of a lighter blue on the turrets had something to do with potential difficulties having to use projections on a darker color

I think it looks great. I know people are very resistant to change here, but nothing in the picture above elicits a reaction of disgust from me. I don’t get the criticisms that the shine on the turrets make it look like plastic. It’s new paint, of course it’s gonna shine. It will fade over time...

Agreed, this electric blue color is throwing me off the more I compare it to the rendering. It’s very shocking to me how off the final product is compared to the concept art.

Count me in the minority with you lol. I think the pastel colors look nice and the architecture is a fun departure from the other castles. It does feel a bit fake-looking, but overall I'm a fan. Happy that Hong Kong has an original castle finally.

Yeah, if they want to match the concept art, the blue needs to be darker and the pink needs to be lighter. Much lighter. Though now that it covers more of the castle, I don't hate this color scheme. But those gold accents would be much easier to see if they toned down the pink.

Did a side by side with a picture I took from my trip in December. Very much felt like she needed a fresh coat of paint then. New color scheme is definitely reminiscent of Disneyland’s recent renovation. Excited to see how that translates on to a much larger canvass.
