It’s a smart move on Disney’s part. Clone a ride with high guest satisfaction ratings from a park that relatively few tourists outside of China are likely to visit, and vice versa. No guests are cannibalized from either park and a great attraction is able to be experienced by more people. Tbh...

As a 28 year old gay man that was once a teen, I would have loved to see the commercialism of “all things rainbow” growing up. I hope queer youth understand that we have not had this level of inclusion and acceptance for that long, and we still have a long way to go.

Agreed. From the front, the column is kind of chunky, but the light grey strip down the middle helps diffuse that a bit. And the side view actually looks great. The curved design is very sleek.

I see nothing wrong with Whoopi hosting. Whether you like her or not, she’s a well known celebrity nationwide and has ties to several Disney films. Her voice makes you run away screaming? That’s a bit extreme.

Can concur that all preshows were running and the ride, other than a static Finn AA and only one cannon recoiling, was working smoothly. Glad my friends’ first ride did not disappoint.

Quite a broad statement to make for an age group that ranges from 25-40, which likely includes a large portion of people on this forum, but okay sure.

Also the nod to “Remember the Magic” in the song for the finale units makes more sense at the Magic Kingdom than Disneyland. Will be interesting to see what changes, if any, will be made to Festival of Fantasy when it returns sometime during the 50th.
