Mummy has become a classic in Orlando, that and ET vie for most beloved classic attraction.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

I’ve ridden both within a week, the Orlando experience is better in every way, the dark ride portion is longer, has pyro in the treasure room, the coaster portion is longer, the coaster version has three pops of legitimate airtime (post launch, middle of the first portion, drop to hell,) has a...

I don’t think they will ever touch DL’s castle, too iconic and historic.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I’m not entirely certain why Disney would close Dinosaur before Encanto opens, it seems to me, especially in a park hurting for attractions it would make the most sense to build Encanto first, and close Dinosaur the day you open Encanto. That way you have less nashing of teeth, Dino’s close...

    Disneyland Project/Rumor Tracker

75th anniversary should be a much bigger celebration then the 70th or the 80th, that’s 3/4 of the way to 100.

    Hurricane Milton coming to FL

Got a welcome email out of the blue today, Southwest is gifting me a $200 voucher for my troubles. This despite the fact that I: -Booked a new flight on points and got out before the storm -Canceled my old flight and got that cost refunded -Didn’t complain or ask for anything -This was...

m all of those canvas billboards were purposely sliced Tuesday morning, the hurricane still shredded it further but part of that was by design to protect the sign.

Disneyland Fantasmic Dragon Engulfed in Flames

I wish they would do like WDW does and make a special reservation for resort guests. Doesn’t seem right to be blocked if you are staying at a resort.

Auditions mean we are only 3 ish months out right? Maybe they goose attendance with a late February return.

    News Roy O. Disney overhaul

I believe the only theme parks still running coal fired steam locomotives are Dollywood, Cedar Point and Knotts.

Why does anyone like to go to Magic Mountain?

United parks are head and shoulders above SFMM. I am a coaster nerd I travel all over the place, I visited SFMM once. Glad I did, do not need to go back anytime soon, give me DLR, SWSD, and KBF anyday. I actually felt the same about USH until recently (when I went the only thing that park had...

    Hurricane Milton coming to FL

I don’t know why you would expect the power to stay on when a hurricane passes right over you. The base expectation would be loss of power.

    Hurricane Milton coming to FL

OMG you are so lucky the storm went south. Please, please keep your vow to evacuate next time.

I did this for Ian so I’ll do it here, some music and levity for you hunkered down folks before the power goes out: Stay safe folks, batten down those hatches.

    Hurricane Milton coming to FL

The eye moving south from Orlando is not a positive development for the area, the strongest storms will be just north of the eye, you’re trading lower winds for more rain and higher chance of tornadoes.
