Snoopy on Ice, Christmas Tree lighting, Ghost Town shops for the seasonal stuff.
Ridewise, do not miss the Calico Mine Ride, Timber Mtn Log Ride, Train, Stagecoach, Ghost Rider, Hangtime, Xcelerator.
USF has it the worst, let’s first take you on a simulated elevator to go miles underground only to deposit you in a room where you must climb up 2 flights of stairs.
Spooky season is coming to an end, and it will soon be Merry Farm, any idea when we might get a show schedule? Mainly will Snoopy on Ice be preformed Fri-Sun or just Sat-Sun.
The JP ride can have exposed coaster track because you are in a fictional theme park that chose to build a roller coaster in a Dino paddock. It’s internally consistent.
Veliciocoaster is a phenomenal coaster that’s in my top ten. It’s going to win, everytime.
What’s funny is the concept is doing great in Florida. Something highly themed would also do great here. Doing a fantasy forest concept (with Princess Dinner,) Haunted Mansion restaurant, Skipper Canteen, or Space Restaurant I think would do really well there.
Rides like Spider-Man, the Potter Rides, Transformers, Mario Kart and even Kong are so much more then simulators, they are also dark rides where you still move through physical spaces and have real things to see (not just a screen) and some of you need to give them a chance.
I was in Anaheim last week, saw the band, pirate band, Dans, saw plenty of characters around town square, by Matterhorn, and BVS (even rode the trolley with Donald.) Maybe you had bad luck? You are 100% right on the lack of indoor theatre stuff though.
I only had a decent time there because I had a flash pass and was rather disappointed with the lack of anything else at the park besides a coaster. Without the flash pass I would have been miserable. I think Cedar Point does a much better job as an amusement park focused on coasters because it...
SFMM represents a lot of what’s wrong with the legacy Six Flags parks and the former chain, it’s well known amongst coaster enthusiasts. It’s not just Disney fan thing. SFMM is not a well run diversified park.
You misunderstand my amazement this is a company that does things at the last minute and only when necessary. I’m amazed that they dont appear to be doing that this time, unless we are missing a large refurb in the spring (which I already speculated on) or the 70th is starting sooner then...
I remember an awful lot of stuff happening the spring before the 60th, not fall. What is left to rehab? I know Pirates has its queue expansion, but Indy, Jungle Cruise, HM, Tiana and now BTMRR will have recently undergone rehabs. Is ROA going to get drained again? Rise close? Matterhorn? I...
Either something really big is going down this spring, or TDA must be worried funding will dry up later this year. They are really pushing these fall rehabs,
All they needed to do was have the Shadow Man return and attempt revenge on Tiana. Imagine seeing Tiana’s and Naveen’s family turned into frogs and about to be thrown off the salt dome while Naveen and Tiana enlist help from the Bayou to save their families.
