News Disneyland Resort casting for Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration

Disneyland Resort has several casting calls out today for the parade:

For perspective, I love Disney parades and make a point of seeing them repeatedly. But this one? I saw it once and never wanted to see it again.

I'm of the minority on this board that genuinely likes the parade and the energy of the performers, but you can really see the budget (or lack thereof) for the floats. Really wish they spent more money on the Turning Red and Soul floats if they were planning on turning this into the Mickey's Mix Magic of parades.

If we can get the parade without the Fest AND it doesn't come at the expense of anything else, then fine, whatever.

I guess they see it as an easy already developed parade to run at DCA during the 70th.

Nothing wrong with keeping a Parade going at DCA.

Maybe this is DCA's draw for the 70th, while PTN is at DL? With Magic Happens, hopefully a return to form F! and some kind of Fireworks Show.

Mix Magic should not be a 70th offering!

I’m not a huge Pixar fan and didn’t think I needed to see the parade more than once, but my kids LOVED the floats and we all found the chorus of the parade theme song very catchy. We still sing it to each other occasionally (“you, me, better together, better together”).

DCA never should have had a parade route. The inclusion of the performance corridor ruined the layout of the park.

This was the only thing I liked from Pixar Fest, so I’m glad it’s coming back. Hopefully, DCA can also bring back Rogers.

I think the likely answer is the 70th stuff will stay in Disneyland and they're gonna run the regular fests at DCA throughout so the attendance balances out.

Maybe but wouldn't Pixar Fest 2025 mean Together Forever Fireworks in DL? I think Together Forever can take a break for the 70th.

Not necessarily. They could still have the Pixar festivities and special food items and all that at DCA without having to run the firework show.
