You take away the Velociraptors, you're left with just another fast coaster that goes uhh fast, but E.E has some of Imagineering's best work in theming , its a old railway engine, inside Everest, and the story is brilliant, Joe Rohde's attraction cant be beat, Yes the YETI could do with a new lease of life, but its still a good model . my wife's favorite attraction by some margin.

For theming and the complete package, Expedition Everest all day. For just the ride portion, Velocicoaster hands down. 2 completely different dynamics at play in both of these, and the queue for Everest alone my be some of Imagineering's best work in the past 2 decades or so.

Velocicoaster hands down up with Iron Gwazi as the most intense coasters I have ever ridden. I love Expedition Everest I just so wish they would fix the Yeti, even though it has been the best part of two decades since it really worked!

As others have said EE wins on theming but Velocicoaster is the most fun ride I’ve ever been on… Velocicoaster gets my vote.

This is one area that Uni has a massive expectation advantage over Disney, I love Velocicoaster but put the exact same ride, with the exact same “good” theming, and the same exposed track at Disney and I’d complain, just like I do about the Cosmic Rewind show building, despite loving that ride also.

At Disney I place theming above all else, at other them parks like Uni, Dollywood, etc I’m ok with a lessor theme and more excitement.

The JP ride can have exposed coaster track because you are in a fictional theme park that chose to build a roller coaster in a Dino paddock. It’s internally consistent.

Veliciocoaster is a phenomenal coaster that’s in my top ten. It’s going to win, everytime.

I can vote either way. Disney theming gives EE the nod despite the non functioning Yeti. But voting for total thrills as a coaster it’s Uni.
